Adventure Time! With Finn and Jake

Watching it right now, it's not nearly as good as the pilot, but then again, nothing these days is. It's not too bad, in my opinion. It gets more genuine laughs from me then most cartoons do nowadays, but not as good as I hoped.

Granted, I only watched half of an episode, so my opinion may change soon. Hopefully it's better then it is so far.
 
I saw one of the episodes of the series but I wasn't very impressed. :( One of my favourite things from the original short was just how ridiculous and over the top it was. I regularly use "Mathematical!!" followed by "Rhombus!!" as exclamations around my friends. I didn't hear anything quotable or even along those lines in the episode I saw. (idk if it was the first ep or what--it had businessmen frozen in ice.)

If I find another ep online, I'll give it another chance but for now I'm perfectly fine ignoring its existence and going back to rewatching the original every so often.
 
Oy, my friend showed me this show as a joke- a reject show they almost showed on some channel. Now I find they actually made more episodes- there was one for free on iTunes the other day.

Honestly, it's downright terrible, which is what makes it so fun to make fun of. These types of shows never last long.
 
i watch it and think it's funny just because of how weird and random it is xD
the first time i saw the commercial it immediately reminded me of my friend, so i told her about it :D
 
I love the show. For once CArtoon Network actully made something decent and funny.

Yeah. I agree, since that show is new. CARTOON NETWORK, STOP MAKING NEW, CRAPPY SHOWS!! BRING BACK THE 2004 CARTOONS!! Although I like Ben 10, which premired in 2005.
 
I have never seen it but it looks retarded. I liked the older cartoons too.
 
I watched it the other day, for maybe five minutes. I really wish I hadn't. The over-the-top humor really isn't done well at all. The only thing I actually found funny was the auto-tune bit in the one commercial. And what's worse is Turner ordered 3 seasons of the show. Bad Turner, bad...

It would be nice if they got rid of this show and brought bad Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
 
I've seen an episode or two of it, and I will admit, it's humor is really 'immature' more often than not, but I thought it was better than some of the pointless crap that CN has pooped out, like Dude, What would Happen? or, heaven forbid, Ed, Edd and Eddy which is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST cartoon I've ever seen since Ren and Stimpy.

I like this show from the one episode I've seen. It is a little risky and immature, but most of the time, good cartoons feel that way initially. This series has some potential, so before everyone starts hating on it, you should sit down and watch about 5 episodes of it with an open mind, and see if your mind changes any.

I've seen far worse attempts at comedy than this in animation. With that being said, some of what this show is based off of is referring to the good old days of text based adventures, and good old fashioned adventure genre games. It's a bit of an old concept, but if developed right, it could indeed be very comical, as it pokes lighthearted fun at all sorts of things like how silly and arbitraty an RPG/adventure game can be, and at things which most kids do think about these days, like math, and ect...

Personally, I think if you can connect to a show like iCarly more than you can connect to this show, you're too young to get it. XD

This show is the best. Really. It's crazy... and very creative. Some of the stuff just makes you go "Wha...?". Like

Last night's episode with Jiggler was hilarious, and I can't wait for next week's!
 
The show is actually funnier that Chowder and the Marvelous Mis adventure of Flapjack
 
Eh, I don't really mind this show.
 
I think it is actually quite hilarious... it reminds me of a mixture of Flapjack and Chowder which are both hilarious shows on their own.
