If you were part of an experiment that put you in a cell and froze your growth and aging process for 10 years, next to reuniting with your family members, what would you be most excited about?

For me, I think the most exciting thing would be the music. I would want to immediately catch up with all of my favorite artists today, and discover new music. I think that's just part of who I am, though. Every single day I'm looking for new music. It seems very appropriate for that to apply to me.

I'd have to agree with you. Basically everything in the entertainment category. Shows, music, computers, TV's, etc. I'd also be very interested in seeing how the animal populations have changed, for the bad or for the good seeing as quite a few animal species that won't be around in the next couple of years. Not to mention the new species that are found, which would excite me as well, also since I'm adding quite a few things as it is, I'd love to know what are 'in style' at those times also.

I'd definitely be very interested in what new technology we've gained. I'd also look into the new game/anime releases.

I'd be most happy about the new technology and trends that have been innovated during those 10 years.

I'd be interested in the new consoles and games in the market. It would be a nice surprise to see the 8th or even 9th generation consoles in my living room.

People say "think about how great it'll be in ten years!" but we are there watching the technology and music and history gradually change so we don't really notice it all that much.

The first thing I'd want to see is what my friends and family look like ten years older. I know you said 'besides being reunited with family' but it wouldn't be so much because of missing them, I'd just want to see how they've aged while I've stayed the same...

Next thing I'd look at is TV shows - I'd want to know if anything I watched beforehand was still on the air, and if not, what the shows are like these days. Fiction is my life, so TV is very important to me.

Then I'd look at celebrities and Hollywood for the same reason I'd want to go see my family and friends - I want to see if the years have been kind to them :P

Then I'd check if JK Rowling has finally written another book... about anything.

Wow, I swear I'm not as shallow as this made me sound...

I'd look at all the major political events of the past decade and hope that a few revolutions had taken place.

Probably the new developments in culture and media stuff (heh, a pun!) Have 3D films become the norm or was this a flash-in-the-pan fad like the other times? Is everything streaming video now and are there no need for DVDs/TVs in general? Have newspapers died out like people are predicting? Stuff like this fascinates me in this day and age, and to essentially skip forward ten years to see the results would be fascinating. I mean, 10 years ago we barely had YouTube or Wikipedia, and look how prominent they are!

I would be excited about all the new technology.

    Next to reuniting with my family members, I think I'd be most excited about the advancement in the technological field. The advancement in science, and communication with the rest of the universe. Yeah I'm just cool like that. But I would give equal, if not more, priority to the media and culture sector. Music, Video Games, Movies, Anime and stuff. P;

Reuniting with family wouldn't be my first desire. Just saying.

I'd want to know if people's attitudes to the world around them have changed. Are we still big consumers? Still afraid of our neighbors? Still fighting over gay marriage? Still acting not properly planning for the future? Those kinds of things are what I'd want to know most, but I'd be interested in other changes, too.

I'd be interested in geographical issues around the world in terms of global warming and animals and politics etc. And then after that I would catch up with the new technology and entertainment. It would be pretty fun to catch up with all sorts of new things :D

Not gonna be reuniting with my family right off the bat. Gonna be checking out new technology first...

Then I'd probably freak out at the absurd price of everything and the fact that all the cars are even more absurdly small than they are today...

Then of course I'd check out new anime and the current trends in hotel rooms.

Then, after all that I might pay the family a visit. Perhaps...

I would be excited about living the rest of my life, to see all of the changes to the world and to life, it would be brilliant

After ten years I would be interested in how software, hardware and technology in general has developed. It's constantly being developed and in the space of ten years it will surely be amazing to see. Another thing I'd be interested in seeing is how gaming has developed since I've been gaming my whole life and at least one if not two new generations of consoles will be released by then.

Honestly, I'd probably just rush to see if my favourite game series had any updates, then hole myself away for a bit to play them and catch up. :P I'd be most interested in that, electronics, and the fandom-y things I've missed out on.

(I'm assuming meeting people aside from my family doesn't count as my first choice, haha.)

i don't see there being much excitement, i would expect to have few people to return to and my social skills to have diminished depending on the state of my confinement...i think i would just be happy to experience simple luxuries again, like watching old movies and eating tacos. i see myself developing an appreciation for quiet isolation after such an experience, and missing it when i'm apart of the world again
