Age Limit on members

Mwar, age limiting is dumb on a board where most people who are interested in the topic are under 13. I mean, honestly, there are alot more people under 13 who like Pok?mon than people over 13 [and even fewer over 18, mwar XD].

I agree with many of the members, There are too many pokemon lovers under the ages of 13, and half my friends all over the world are 13.

There may be some young teens that are unruly but I respect many of them.
I understand what you meen by the duble posting , but I'v seen 18 year olds do the same thing XD. It's just something to get on everyones nerves or a way to get the point acrossed, if a mod is around at the time I'm sure the people who posted will get the punishment they need for being anoying to sertan members and duble posting.

I'm a anoying person and I'm17, That dosint meen that this baord should be for everyone above the age of 17 XD, I think there are just some that dont get there way and fuss about it, but thats "life".
The good should not be punished by being band for joining this baord just cause of there age, it's not right to others and it's a wrong choice being that this IS a pokemon baord and half the world pokemon fans are under the age of 14.

I'm sorry if this sounds agruementitive. But I'm Totaly againced this o_o;


And if you mods do need any help with the younger age group, it would be a good idea to ask for "temperary reinfourcment Moderaitors" who will be more then happy to just be Temperary mods and not have there Title say Moderaitor. Just some people to warm and give bad rep to those who are disrespectful and unruly.

I think I have been patient about this long enough. I believe, that there are too many members under the age of 13. They don't follow the rules, they double post, they spam, and simply they are annoying. I'm not sure if there is an age limit on these forums, but it might be a good idea.

If this can't be done, then maybe the mods should just keep an eye out to keep things in-line. I understand that the mods can't do everything, but it would be nice to enforce the rules a little bit more.

Anyone else who agrees with me, please post your reasons here for an age limit.

BTW, in no way am I disrespecting the mods, I just felt a little more could be done to make the forums a happier place :D

First and foremost, Pokemon is viewed for a younger audience. So, if you put it that way then you shouldn't really be here. Next, so what if they break the rules, like you said they're children. If you don't like them here, simply do not come here.

I think it is a good idea to try to enforce the rules a little bit more, but not letting kids on because of their age is a little over the top. I spam, I know even some of the admins have spammed before they were admined, everybody breaks the rules once in a while, but they are forgiven and life goes on. Almost all of the kids under 13 love pokemon and know more about pokemon than a lot of other people on the site.

The reasons for their breaking the rules are because most of them are new or just haven't read the rules yet but eventually do. And they learn to follow them.

So, I don't think it is a good idea to set an age limit.
