Alcohol

So who here drinks? Do you drink regularly, or not often, or not at all?
I don't drink, because I'm only 12, but I've tried some and it tastes DISGUSTING.

If you don't drink, why not?

Because I'm only 12. XD

If you do drink, how drunk do you tend to get?

Do I drink? Rarely. Mostly because I'm underage, but I also loathe the taste of the wine my parents keep at home. Maybe it'll change, but so far I find the taste of alcohol revolting.
Will I drink? In college, probably. xD

I dont like acohol and refuse to drink it accept at parties, i hate what it does to people and i dont want to turn out like them to be fully honest

*raises hand* Guilty.

Do you drink regularly, or not often, or not at all?
Several times a week, with friends. Sometimes it's only a couple of beers but lately there has been a lot of big parties and events on my university where the whole school goes crazy. It wouldn't be the same without the alcohol.

If you don't drink, why not? If you do drink, how drunk do you tend to get?
I get drunk rather easily, but I'm pretty good at keeping it at a decent level. I hate when people get so drunk that they can hardly speak or walk. Where's the fun in that? I usually get a bit wild and happy (hm, well, emotional overall :D) when I drink, but I don't do bad things. I always get bad hangovers though xD

I don't drink often, as I don't enjoy the taste of Alcohol-- I'd prefer Melon Soda or Ginger Beer any day. I would put my self in the 'rarely drinks' section. I only drink to celebrate, and I mostly drink champagne and wine. I suppose I occasionally drink Baileys, my friend and I occasionally resort to Blue Faszination if there is no Creaming Soda in the fridge.

Not very surprisingly, I haven't gotten drunk or tipsy ever-- Nor am I planning to. The most I have drunk was four glasses of Baileys and three shots of Vodka-- diluted, of course.

I don't like drunks, I hate dealing with them. I would never want to become something I dislike.

If I want to have fun, my friend and I pick up a multiplayer video game-- DO IT!

I'm not really old enough. Although I've drunk way too much vodka at a few weddings and parties. xD

I drink. I don't drink that much. I'm not one to go and party every weekend, or even every month. Once in a while is good for me. But that's for partying and getting drunk. Because I honestly don't really like who I am when I get drunk. I'm not like an aggressive a-hole, gonna-beat-my-kids type drunk. I, just like many people, tend to say things and do things that I regret the following morning.

That said. Drinking is different from getting drunk. I'm up to get a beer or two at the bar with some buddies. Moreso in 2 months when I turn legal in Canada. But drinking with the sole purpose of getting drunk, not my idea of fun. And I do see why some people would find it sad or absurd that people rely on alcohol to have fun. But if you say that and you haven't actually gotten drunk, you fail to see how much fun being drunk can be. And it's not that people rely on alcohol to have fun, it's just that... having sober fun and having intoxicated fun are two very different things. Once you've really experienced intoxicated fun, and have had one hell of a good night with a bunch of other intoxicated people, the two just don't compare.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having sober fun. A lot of my friends don't like getting drunk and we always have a good time together perfectly sober. And they are the main reason why I don't drink and party that much. But every so often I will get drunk and I will have myself a good time.

The only thing I really hate about alcohol is the hangover. That's awful. Especially if you have school or work that day.
