Wait, you sure to get Sylveon you need 5 hearts? Was told you need at least a fairy type attack? Been hearing baby eye dolls or whatever. And my brother did it with 2 hearts. I did it with 3...

Eevee may need at least 1 heart from what i heard as well.

Sliggo, I think sites should clarify. Rain does not mean Rain Dance or Drizzle. It won't evolve if its through those two. You have to find an area where it is raining like the swamp where you catch Goomy and level it up there. I'm over the 50 Mark as a majority of other places tell me its 55 not 50 so I cannot confirm the actual minimum.

I am really interested in the right conditions for Sylveon; Will have to get one.

I managed to get a Sylveon from a Level 19 Eevee that already had a Fairy-type move. What I did was raise its affections to max (5 hearts) and then leveled it which evolved it.

I'm fine with most of these, Inkay is just ridiculous though.

The new updated Evolutionary conditions are very creative and fresh. Love them a lot. It adds more personality to the Pokémon and helps the gamer gain deeper appreciation for that Pokémon.

I think I evolved my Sliggoo at level 51 on the route i caught it as a Goomy. It might have been 50 but I wasn't on the route when it happened aha.

I like these new evolution methods. I think Inkay's is adorable and I honestly can't wait to actually try it out for myself haha.

I have to say these evolution methods are really fun and I hope to try them out sometime when I get my games, especially the Sylveon one and the upside-down evolution required for Inkay.

I really like the evolution method for Inkay—it's pretty creative. :) Out of all the methods listed above, the only one that I truly dislike is the evolutionary method for Sylveon. Train up your Eevee to learn a fairy-type move and then bond with it in Amie? To me, that sounds like quite a hassle. It would've been a lot better if, in my opinion, they saved us from spending so much time and energy on all the Pokémon-Amie shenanigans and required us to only teach our Eevee a fairy attack before evolving it.

If you get 1 heart for eevee there is a small chance that it will evolve into Sylveon. Otherwise you might just get an umbreon or espeon depending on the time of day. The best way for 100% chance at Sylveon is to get 5 affection hearts.

Also, you can just farm at route 10 for a lvl 19-20 eevee, 80% of them have a fairy type move already called "Baby-Doll Eyes" and it only takes 1 hour in Aimee to get it full affection.
