    COLOSSEUM AND XD LET'S GOOOOOOO

oh and sure the gen nine games will perform better. Like they should more like.

It's so cool to at least get Colosseum and XD in the switch despite Masuda pretty much saying the franchise is dead.

I find the overall existence of a Switch 2 version of ZA pretty strange, tho since the game is already releasing after the Switch 2 is out, why not make the game just exclusive to the console.

Checking out eBay rn, used Colosseum and XD discs range from $250 to $500 altogether, so thank Arceus these are included in Switch 2's NSO library along with other rare overscalped GameCube titles. I'm honestly more hyped for this level of accessibility than the new titles.

Did they actually confirm online play for Pokémon Coliseum and Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness? I absolutely would not be surprised if it's a repeat of Pokémon Stadium on NSO+EP.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be getting the console at launch, and it's purely because I don't know what's going to happen regarding preorders. I live in the middle of Nowhere, Kentucky, so there's practically no chance they'll deliver it to my house on day one, and I need it on Day One for Deltarune Ch 1+2+3+4, except I'm probably going to have to get that game on PC because I probably won't be able to get to Walmart on June 5 to pick one up in the store. Is Walmart going to handle the launch like the Wii U days (where we came to the store at night and were given numbers of who's in line until 12:01am local time)? Walmart isn't open until midnight anymore, so I don't think that's the case (except in the unlikely event they stay open that night just for the Switch 2 launch). I hate scalpers, and I hate preordering things to be delivered to my house three days later! I actually felt like this was going to be a nightmare to get Day 1 BEFORE Nintendo announced the preorders were being delayed due to the tariffs.

The tariffs have just kind of cemented the situation for me. There was at least a chance they were going to let me do in-store pickup for my Switch 2 preorder at Walmart, but now it's not happening, and on top of that, I'm maybe going to have to spend over $600 on this thing. This whole situation sucks.

Saw nothing about online play yet for those specific Gamecube games. Could be a while before they are actually released. Likely learns more when it comes out.

I am excited to see Colosseum and XD will be becoming more accessible again. Getting the games second-hand has been looking like a financial nightmare since their highlights on bigger platforms on youtube. Can't wait to see all the fanworks this would spawn. Been seeing plenty pop up on the internet since the reveal at least on the Orre discord fanservers ~

Tho definitely felt like I dodged a nuclear missile by getting these games before the price spike happened. The value has been insane...

Though, the price for the switch 2 is a bit... On the high end... Especially with the addition of the massive pricetag on simply owning a single game.

I know video games being capped at $60 lasted, like, 15 years or something before the PS5, but it's still a shame to see it raised to $70 or (in Mario Kart World's case) $80. I absolutely would not mind if the $70 price tag meant the devs got more money, but I understand that's not the industry standard.
