Touching on that, are there any teachers in your life that you feel would have a strong influence on your teaching methods? To further expand on this, what instructor(s) in your life made you go "Wow, I love their method of teaching, I might pick up on some of these methods!" And what would those teaching methods be, if you could explain that?
I have my positive influences, but I also have the opposite. As in...I don't want to be like my 1st and 3rd grade teachers. So I have teachers that I want to be like and those I don't want to be like. The kindergarten teacher I observed was very helpful and did so many things I liked. I want to be like her. :)

I feel happy about that and even screenshotted it lmao. It's funny because I originally thought this forum was silly, and here I am with the most popular thread. If you could choose any superpower to have, what would it be?
I've always wanted to transform. That was the monkey's power on Jackie Chan Adventures and my Chinese Zodiac sign is a monkey, so I am totally content with that. I thought it was destiny.
 
Are you a person that's afraid to speak directly to a crowd of people, or are you comfortable with it (aka do you have a fear of public speaking)?
I have issues with talking to people I don't know, let alone big groups of people I don't know. I asked everyone at my table individually if they wanted dessert or coffee tonight, cause I didn't feel comfortable asking them as a group. And plus they were all talking and I don't want to interrupt and I'm not loud enough and just ugh. I am fine with kids though. Or well, I'm better with kids. It's still nerve wracking, but it's not as bad as adults. Kids are more honest and vocal, but I feel adults, and peers my age, are more...harsh and can actually do more damage.

Also, I used to throw my jacket off during speeches in 11th grade English. And I sweat and get shaky and you can totally hear it. Humor is my medicine. It's how I try to break the ice and get more comfortable with groups. Or anyone, really. I also have a major eye contact problem. It's natural that I don't look people in the eyes and so I have to remind myself and force myself to do it, but it's really uncomfortable and doesn't help. I've been trying to focus on other facial features instead, like a nose.

Gonzberries. Kidding. Strawberriesssss. idk why they are though. Maybe I'm just partial to red or something. But they're so good and I am always excited when someone buys them haha. Not a fan of them being refrigerated though. My teeth are sensitive and strawberries get super cold. :(

I like to dance and twirl baton, but I'm also in marching band. I know a lot of people just see it as nothing, but until you actually do it yourself or at least come to a practice, you see it's a ton of work. Let's not forget my instrument is almost my size. I love it though.

EARTHBOUND!!! That is the thing that really pulled me in. I'm probably still going to wait for a price drop but omg EARTHBOUND. No more having to buy a super expensive SNES cartridge!

Some people call me that, since I'm Syd (duh) and bby is just like baby. I also like it cause it goes with seed bby. :) Which looking at your join date, I have to explain that too.

So I was avoiding gen V spoilers in 2010 and I was importing White. And Kaori was using this avatar with such a pretty grass Pokemon (Lilligant) and I asked Shivi if he knew what evolved into Kaori's avatar so that I knew what to look for. So he just sent me a picture of Petilil and I said "omg it's like a lil seed bby!!!" And there's that. I know that wasn't your question, but you were gonna be like "tf is seed bby?" So there, knocked out two questions. ;3

10. The 11 still confuses me once it gets up to 10 x 11 and I was never taught my 12 times tables. inb4 i'm made fun of for this sigh

How do you keep cool after a wound up member loses it?
I have a bit of a temper, but it's easy to keep cool when a member is so wrong that even Al Gore won't give them a recount. In the case of someone that's actually competent though, I usually just review my actions with another moderator, or a higher staff member.
 
If I recall you play one of those massive saxophone things which I cannot recall the name of, right? How long you been practicing that for?
I've played tenor for...wow, I just counted. 7 years I've played it. And it's about to end. I'm switching to the big honcho.

Umbreon! It's my favorite. No doubt about it. <3 So I'mma pick it. And we can cuddle all the time and go for walks and watch YGO together and play board games. :)

Have you ever actually played the YGO TCG before?
Long ago when I was a kid. Never quite liked it as much as Pokemon TCG and I have no more cards to show for it. Shame too. I want my Joey deck back...and my Dark Magician.

What kind of songs can you play on the tenor? What musical styles do you prefer?
I only really play it during fall semester, so it's just marching music...whatever we have for that show, really haha. We're doing Latin this year if I'm not mistaken, and we had a Latin-style song in our 2011 show that I enjoyed, so I guess that's kinda what I like to play.
