. . . I see the newspaper headline next to me reads 'ROCK FALL TRAGEDY' and the first thing that pops into my head is 'ROCK FALLS, EVERYONE DIES'?

. . . I'm walking through town, glancing sideways at the long-haired louts with their cigarettes and cans of V, and legitimately feeling justified in believing that I am a better person because my jeans don't have holes in them, my lungs aren't going to kill me before I turn 40, and I have a Ray Bradbury book tucked under my arm?

. . . I'm giving the noisy jerkasses a few metres away my best evil glare for not shutting the hell up in the library? And again, feeling like a superior human being because I'm sitting here quietly with my laptop and my little pile of books?

. . . All of these actually happened in the last day or so. *sigh*

You seem to recognize and question all of that about yourself. Don't see how that makes you a bad person. Having confidence is good. xD Maybe having too much is iffy, but oh well.

OK, well, maybe not the last one so much. That just makes me feel like a stupid person, because they were all big guys who looked like they'd pound you if you so much as looked at them funny.

But the first two make me feel like kind of a dick, especially the second. More of a dick than usual, for sure. Caliban will vouch for how much of an ass I am day-to-day.

It just makes you a more rational person than 80% of the US Population

I'm more rational than 100% of the US population because I chose to live in a country other than the US I mean, haha. >>

What, you don't like Ray Bradbury?! gtfo my blog That is . . . uh.
