Am I insane for having nightmares about Pokemon?

Or am I extra-insane that my nightmares were about if the upcoming games were gonna be hard?

I… really don't know. Like, I know most of the recent games were easy, but I actually hope… these games are the easiest in the franchise thus far. I do have reasons, that being I now have somewhat of a job and I'm developing interests other than video games and according to leaks the starter I plan to pick is gonna have a bad typing. But overall I don't know why I want these games to be easy.

And of course, I don't want these to be like, a complete cakewalk, but if these games needed to be hard, I would much prefer to implement challenge rules on my own terms.

So… have I genuinely lost my mind? And please be civil about this.

Not insane, no. May indicate anxieties about the game, or nothing at all. Dreams of strange things sometimes. Acts and feels differently than you otherwise might in them.

Would not be too concerned about difficulty. Overcomes a lot with enough levels. Offered avenues of passive experience in recent games (Poke Pelago and Poke Jobs), if you are concerned about time. Likely implemented this via Autobattling.

Be sure to keep items on hand and, in the event of a Grass/Dark starter, something resistant to Bug. Bets on Paldean Wooper being a good teammate for a Grass/Dark Pokemon.

Edit: And do not forget Terastallizing. Suggests Grass for Sprigatito's Terastal type. Could possibly be changeable without obtaining a new one. (May hold off on that until the inevitable DLC, though.)
