Animal Crossing New Leaf Update Coming This Fall

I've seen much older games receive updates before. I'm even less surprised that it's Amiibo support.

But... I can't say I'm happy about it. I don't like Amiibos very much. :/
 
I'm fairly surprised at this myself. I'd think they were long done with any sort of development on New Leaf.

Logically, though, it makes sense. The only other games AC amiibo have been usable with (as far as I am aware) are Happy Home Designer (which only really uses the cards(?)) and Amiibo Festival, the latter of which isn't all that popular of a game, so making them usable with a significantly more popular game in the series should noticeably increase sales of the amiibo.
 
This IS pretty surprising, but I'm not complaining. This is probably their way of ressucting New Leaf so they don't have to put out a new game soon.
 
I wanted to bring this subject on the AC fan club but hey, there's already a thread soo...

I like it! I might restart one of my game then! The problem about this is that it kinda mean we won't have a new game soon :/ If it's the case I want to see more updates! I really like the idea, but I am not a fan of Splatoon so nly half of the new stuff interest me XD
