    You could say a few attempts to novelize the anime exist. Back in the earlier years, Tracey West wrote at least a hundred novelizations of the Pokemon anime. However, they are long since out of print these days, they also aren't exactly in chronological order with the anime. The first book in the series is "I Choose You" the last book in the series being "Winner Takes All" the books only go through Kanto and Johto, however picture book adaptions of Hoenn do exist.

    Have you read the novelization of the Pokemon anime? If so, which books?

    I'll link to the lists.

    The "Pokemon Adventure Series (No. Not the manga, btw), On of the Anime Novelizations (the list is at the bottom.)

    I rememeber to have at least two of those books, maybe more, but to tell you truth, I don't even know how many they published here. And of course they were translated to the Czech language. I know, however, they were translated by the same translator who also worked on seasons 1-3 and movies 1 and 2, with all the same mistakes she did in the anime, including the same translation for Thundershock, Thuderbolt and Thunder moves. Even in anime this was annoying, but at least there you could guess according to the animations what move was actually used, but in books, you didn't have such opportunity, so it was quite frustrating to read it. I remember to have Island of Big Pokémon, which I bought because Czech dub forgot to include subtitles in that episode, as well as the first Orange Island book. But as I said, maybe I had more of those books, since I was real Pokémaniac back then, buying almost everything I saw with Pokémon :3c But now, after over fifteen years (Pokémon came here in September 2000) I hardly remember everything I collected back then {XD}
