That fandom is yaoi land.
That is the only thing that has killed the series for fan-inspired creations.
Because you're one of the crazy Pokespe fans who thinks you're going to get some sort of disease by comparing the anime to the manga -_- There are some non-crazy fans...Netto agreed with me when I said Red and Ash shared personality traits. Rash, confident, the hero, helping out no matter what, unable to understand or get girls, loyal, typically good natured and friendly to everyone, sometimes too trusting etc etc. Even if Red is more mature, he still seems like a more mature version of Kanto Ash. It's much more noticeable in the RGB arc, though, when he was acting all cocky.
Cocky--why are you using words like "cocky" on a shipping thread--anyway, Red does have the "ability" to realize about the "girl" topic. You've seen it when
and
at the end of the G/S/C arc. Although in the FR/LG arc
Wouldn't you as a ten-year-old kid be full of spunk and feisty if you're going on an adventure all by yourself with no fear? That's how Red, Green, and the other 'Dex Holders were. "Try not,
do". How is that--cocky?
On the other hand, Ash has none of this. He'll do anything to get the "hero" worship from loyal fans; and still be a dunce. But being a hero > being an idiot for fan support.
I'm not one of those crazy fans. Manga is on a different level than anime, and you have to understand that.
Once I picked up the pokemon manga and I was shocked at how...um...mature the "Dawn" character looked. And Cynthia. Are these things for kids? I suspect at any rate that there would be more shipping in a manga aimed at an older audience-- is that the case? Because it sounds like that's not really so, at least not any more canon than the anime.
It's certainly for an audience that can appreciate such levels of drama, action, suspense, etc. The anime has it's ups-and-downs in these categories. Manga is more consistent. It doesn't have to be for little kids, unlike what the anime dictates. It can be for anyone who enjoys Pokemon, just like those who like the games.
lol you chose a wrong episode to watch, out of all the episodes to watch for YGO.
lso, notice this Thursday's episodes. It was so full of Pearlshippy ship tease, it wasn't funny anymore >__> The exact same animation of Dawn hold-clapping her hands at Ash's battling. OK, we get it. Can something else happen now?
Wow, you really are trying hard to disassociate yourself from the ship you so supported, once. Besides, she's doing that only when Ash is battling Paul. So is that a hint for Coma, Ikari, or what?

That's one of the best episodes on the show. How could you hate it? D: I wish Ash would enter a dance competition so he could impress Down
Impress Down? So that he can get Down's syndrome? Ha ha, good one.
It was only entertaining to see Atem's funny expressions. Or am I confused with an older episode? Btw, I forgot to mention this in your previous post, but Pegs owns ftw. Not with Ryou, but just Pegs himself. Almost every head/CEO/president/chairman should inspire to be like him. Strictly anime-speaking, of course.
Ash won't dance unless his Pikachu urges him to--remember, kids, it's Pikashipping where it counts!

...Ash is already impressing Dawn. His whole performance at the Pokemon league is for her. I don't know why people aren't getting this.
Er--huh? I thought it was for global domin--I mean just to let the franchise milk its worth?
I liked Johnny Steps. I've been thinking about writing a fanfic about Johnny Steps/Tea, what do you guys think?
If there's anyone else mentioned (a.k.a. The Hero), I'm interested.
Why does Paul look like a female horse…
Hello, Hiiro, nice to meet you.
Would've been really nice if you suspended Vernikova and Jorah as your first action.
To the second: Oooo, like which ones? Just because I'm curious.

I kinda recommend Yugi vs Joey during Battle City. It makes me woobie (well, anything with Joey makes me woobie).
Eh, I'd recommend the earlier Kaiba vs. Yugi at Duelist Kingdom. That match was epic…really moved me…you'll figure it out once you know what's at stake. Not saying the one at Battle City between Yugi vs. Joey was bad, but that first one was really memorable to me.
