Yes I admit that last scene with Ash and Paul was Comashippy. Especially when PAUL FINALLY SMILED AND A PUPPY DIED at Ash. So he thinks he's worthy now? In your face, Paul.

Now why can't Ash always battle like this? Why reset him to 0 every new region? It's not fair and it's inconsistent. [size]And one of the many reasons why I favor the manga over the anime...because they don't suck after their premiere saga.[/size] This is how I tend to fall out from the anime.

Why would Paul return? Ritchie and Drew never made any reappearance. Gary only because he is the original rival. He won't and he can't return.

Eh? Ritchie returned in an episode arc in Jhoto, Gary was Ash past rival. This is why I think Paul will return now and Gary will be forgotten cuz he's the Kanto rival and Paul is his newest rival of the D/P anime.

Yes, that's what I meant. Shippings are, like, the blushing/hand-holding kind. They're the only thing that will ever be close to canon, anyway *coughContestshippingcough* and personally I'm glad about that.

Yes, I support Bluerang1 taking over that gag. But in all seriousness, you raise a good point. I personally think that joke was kind of old, but maybe others don't, in which case--you know, it's hard to say. Maybe Zoe will take over the gag, given Jenny's new haircut...sorry is that mean?

I don't like the new Officer Jenny (reminds me of Aoi), but I like the new Nurse. She's still so similar to the other one's though, so I bet they're all related somehow anyway. It just looks like they updated her eyes to the new characters design, and gave her a new (more modern?) nurse outfit. I *really* hope Brock's no one takes over Brock's gag, let it die already >_< Someone will just get a *new* gag, since they're changing a lot of things up, otherwise Brock isn't really gone and I'll be *so* annoyed.

That reminds me, Aoi never did come back in the end...and everyone who thought Brock would leave with the tag-battle girl was wrong, too.

Good question. Probably some entirely new one, as the whole Isshu thing seems to be a call for a blank slate, a kind of tip-of-the-hat to people who have been here from the beginning. So, I guess when the full list comes out (with details) we can all take bets on that.

That makes me wonder if Brock will actually catch a ride from some heartthrob of his before he takes off. I mean, being a [wannabe] lady's man is kind of his thing. It's gotta be the note he ends on.
