    Hm. Shame really, she was pretty young.
     
    I'm finding it really hard to care. I feel bad for her children but not her. This comes as no surprise with the way she lived. Everyone deserves to have their mother but she wasn't exactly the most upstanding of citizens. She's been known to be addicted to pills. I wonder if she killed herself, accidentally ODed or if her attorney/so-called husband killed her.

    She commited suicide, she did not like the real father of her child at all {I forget the names of the two possible fathers of the baby girl} and didn't wan't the truth revealed VIA DNA test. So she killed herself so that the DNA test couldn't take place.

    I'm shocked to hear it, but I could see something like this happening. To each their own, I guess.
     
    Yeah, it's sad that she died at such a young age, but like...

    Did she really accomplish anything in her life?
     
    Alot of my friends think it was unintentional suicide. You know, a drug overdose or something. Nio doubt someone like her can get her hands on anything is she wanted it that bad. Its a shame though, I didnt even know who she was un until I found out she died..

    Yeah, though I live in Australia, we too heard of the news, and were shock. Yep, no-one expected someone like her to die. Her son didn't die so long ago, too... :\
     
    She hardly led a great life though, to be honest.

    Playboy model, marrying a 90something year old billionaire, going to war with his family over his money when he died, known to be a regular drug user etc.

    I find it very difficult to sympathise with a person like her. I don't care who you are, if you're regularly doing hard drugs and risking your life for no real reason, you don't appreciate your life enough to deserve one.

    At least her son will be well looked after, and that's all that matters.
     
    The autopsy was performed Friday. Her death is still undetermined and theories seem to be popping up on why she died. Some say it's suicide to hide that she had the baby through incest with her son, while others concluded that it too is suicide, but because she was so much like Marilyn Monroe.

    I'm only questioning why Smith kept denying DNA tests to reveal who the father is of her baby. I admit that's the only thing that's bothering me, but it's a shocker to hear about her passing away. I'll only think of her of one heck of a gorgeous woman. ^^;
     
    Some say she died because of stress. What stress, however, I have no clue. Those at the autopsy said that they didnt detect any illegal drugs in her either, so meh.
     
    Prescription drugs were in her hotel room and none were detected as well. I'm going with that she did not die because of drugs but of something else.
     
    I was shocked when I found out her death, she just had given Birth to her daughter 5 months ago and then her son dies. I think she died because she used alot of pills. But you have to wait 3-5 weeks for the results that caused her death and thats a long time

    Even though I didn't care for the kind of life that she led at all, it was still pretty shocking and sad to hear that she died... simply because she is a human being, after all. It was a shame that she didn't accomplish much during her lifetime. =\ I also feel sorry for her baby--even though I know that Anna was far from being the best mother, I'm sure that she loved her, so it would still be hard for anyone to lose a parent like that and grow up not even having some sort of a relationship with them. (Although, the baby's probably in much better hands now!)

    Aside from that, I have to admit that as soon as my family heard on the news that even Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband has claimed to possibly be the father... we just looked at each other and started laughing. XD; This is going to be interesting.
     
    Well, personally, I believe it'll all be another Marilyn Monroe sop-up (from what I saw about it on CNN). That, and fodder for tabloids and something destined for immortality in Mad.

    As I've said, I'd like to believe it was drugs. I blame that Trimspa crap she'd been advertising.
     
    This really reminds me of the death of Marilyn Monroe, who committed suicide with pills. She was under the age of 40, and was a model very much like Smith.
    Anna Nicole Smith also mentioned that her idol was Marilyn Monroe. She even looked similar, really. She probably wanted to be as much like her as possible.

    I believe Anna was stressed, as she was going through a horrific time and of course wanted to commit suicide, so she did it like her hero, Marilyn Monroe, and OD'd.
