that coloring isn't that bad, it's still great. the color shading gets better, too. I can see the realism in it.

Great job! I really like the Leafeon. I've never drawn a Leafeon. I might do that sometime. I don't really care much for the Milotic, though. The tail looks too short, unless the tail is suppose to be farther back... If that's the case, it's not too bad. It would make an interesting Milotic LV.X card illustration if it were 3D.
 
well, it's surely a great drawing. really, the pose is good (like you said, like it's ready for a battle), the shadings are impressive, and it looks hella real. great job on it!

that looks like a cute pet! good drawing, I love it. and a notice, the two back legs of vaporeon are drawed on his right side. you should watch out for that next time.

Wow, you really now how to shade well, Anna! That's one of my biggest problems, shading. The other is clothing folds but yeah.. really nice work! ^_^
