Any fan of Asian Dramas? Which type of Asian Dramas do you like?
Kdrama, Cdrama, Jdrama, Thai drama or some other Asian dramas?
Why do you like them? Do your family and friends share your love for Asian dramas?
What are some of your favourite Asian dramas?

For me, I am a fan of dorama (Japanese drama). I like shows like GTO, Gokusen, Hana Yori Dango.
I prefer dorama to Kdrama or Cdrama because of its length. Dorama usually lasted less than 13 episodes.
I do occassionally watch korean and chinese historical dramas. I particularly like Hur June, Dong Yi (Kdramas), and three kingdoms (Cdrama).
My mother loved Kdrama, but I am alone in liking dorama (Japanese drama).

My family is from Hong Kong so I grew up watching a lot of Cantonese dramas. They are... objectively not very well produced lmao compared to other types of Asian dramas, mostly because I think TVB, the main broadcasting channel there that also produces most of the shows is quite small (not to be confused with Chinese dramas, which tend to have much bigger budgets), but they will always hold a special place in my heart. A lot of them are quite goofy and I still remember them fondly, and sometimes I'll still dig up old theme songs to listen to 'cause they have a few bangers.

I used to watch a lot of CDramas with my parents as a kid but for most of them they're dubbed in Khmer and usually either my parents tell me what's going on or there's English subtitles lol. I kinda stopped watching them when I graduated high school, and then during the COVID lockdown I watched The Untamed to pass the time lol

I used to be. My top most favorite one was and is always going to be 1 Litre of Tears. However, I haven't been able to watch it as it's so hard to find now. :( The closest I've found it being online is via Internet Archive... but that's not too practical. x.x If anyone can get their hands on it, I do highly recommend it. It's sad, but it's in a very sentimental "life value" type of way.

I like Kamen Rider does that count
I'm not picky with the show's country, but tbh I prefer Asian dramas over western shows, specifically thrillers like Solomon's Perjury and Alice in Borderland. Or shows with supernatural themes like Hotel Del Luna. I also remember liking Strong Girl Bongsoon and Extraordinary Laywer Woo Youngwoo despite not liking romance that much?
