6th Gen Anyone else here about the shinny Beldum release?

I was just browsing through some Alpha Sapphire news when a headline came up stated: 'Shinny Beldum giveaway for Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire."

It said that early buyers of the game will have the opportunity to receive a shinny beldum, although nintendo hasn't released how long this distribution period will last for. In edition, it will be holding a mega stone for mega Metagross.

Anyone else here of this?

So it'll be an event? Oh, that explains a bit, I know people were talking about it but I thought it was in-game. Wonder if it'll have set IVs, though? That'd make for a good surprise.
