Anyone not like using pokemon that don't evolve?

Many of my favorite Pokemon never evolve! To name a few, Torkoal, Zangoose, Seviper... Did I mention I love Hoenn?

Not to mention that these are the only Pokemon I can use. I'm not allowed to evolve my Pokemon since I'm Christian.

I love Torkoal too, I always use it on Emerald. Thanks for reminding me of this, I completely forgot about him.

I don't mind using one-staged Pokemon.

Hmm. I don't have a history of using one-stage Pokemon... But in my Sapphire right now, I'm using a Tauros. Have to say, it's pretty great. I think I'll get into more one-staged Pokemon for my Nuzlocke (if possible) or my run of SS/Silver (I know I'm playing Johto next!)... I almost said Magmar, but then I remembered it's not 1998 >_<

Come to think of it, I think the only ones that dont evolve that I prefer are the legendary Pokemon. In Hoenn I used Torkal but that was about it every other pokemon Ive ever used except maybe Lapras and of course the Legendarys, have been pokemon who eventually evolve.

I too have rarely used non-evolution Pokémon, but not for any specific reason. I've just always gone along the basis that you'd need evolution to keep the stats at an acceptable height.

I've only ever used a few...Dunsparce when I played Gold, who was my Attacking powerhouse with moves such as Strength (whoever says Surf is the only good HM pffft) with the Pink Bow attached and the Attack boosted as much as possible with Proteins. I amazingly haven't tried him on HG/SS...something I really need to do.

Because I'd already decided on my squad in the G/S/C series (Typhlosion, Poliwrath, Victreebel, Pidgeot, Ampharos and Espeon), I never looked at Heracross much...so I promised I would in HG/SS (as you couldn't obtain it until the very late stages of FR/LG)...and it worked well for me I guess...it was very difficult to raise with it having a slowish rate level-up. Yes it was powerful but it didn't do many big things for me. Amazingly it was solely the reason I defeated Clair (I'd forgotten to get Ice Beam for Poliwrath, d'oh!) and apart from Karen in the Elite Four and Sabrina in Kanto it just didn't do that much for me. Close Combat made things more widespread, yes...but I guess I'm admitting to my impatience with raising it. I promise myself to have a good bash at Slow level-up Pokémon, where I'd include both Heracross and Dunsparce!

Seviper was a mixed one for me when I played Emerald...it started out brilliantly, levelling up easily enough, its Attack too...but around the Lv40 mark when its EXP requirements to level up soaring higher than the others (seemingly anyway), and its Attack (despite still going up by 3 sometimes) was somehow falling behind my other physical arsenals (Swampert, hell even my Swellow overtook it!) and I became disillusioned with Seviper.

And then the best one I've personally used...Sawk! Given I don't know anyone in my own social life that doesn't play Pokémon anymore (I know it's bad!!!), I really couldn't go with Machop on HG/SS either in terms of a Fighting machine, and back in the days of R/B/Y I ALWAYS had a Machamp in my team. And of course without picking the Fire starter in the last few batches of games (Torchic, Chimchar and Tepig) I've been really picky with a good enough Fighting-type in my team. Until I found Sawk. Amazingly I read via my Facebook friends that Throh is far from spectacular on their White version (and I'm playing on Black at the moment), I thought I best look at Sawk for my own curiosity's sake. And it's the best decision I've EVER made in a Pokémon game! Levels up great, more than enough Attack AND Defensive power (the only downside is its poor Special Attack but does it even need any??) and it doesn't even evolve! I say "Who cares?!" :D

I don't really care wether a pokemon is able to evolve or not, if it looks cool, and has at least some offensive capabilities, I'll use it.
Zangoose and Heracross are two of my favorite pokemon, and I've been using these quite often. They are hard hitting physical attackers, and they've never let me down so far. Others I've used include Miltank, Tauros and Kangaskhan, all 3 quite lethal in-game.

It doesn't matter to me whether they evolve or not. Skarmory and Miltank have been excellent additions to a few teams of mine and they did just fine.

I think that its not just the non-evoling type of pokemon you don't want you just don't want the style plus non-evoling pokemon aren't as annyoing as if you don't want to evole a certain pokemon you have to keep pressing B or waste space and put a everstone on it! so i think that non-evoling pokemon are useful but then it is always down to a few thing before you catch it

1.level
2. looks
3. type
4. avallbilty
5. abilty

really those non-evoling pokemon do not need to change
(unless it is style then yes they do need to change a bit)

I use them very often, dunno why.
At the time, I have a Durant, Zangoose and Seviper on my 4-Pokemon team. o.o

I don't really mind. While I usually use Pokémon that evolve (for example, I always use the starter and train it to its final evolution), it doesn't mean I won't use a Pokémon that evolved. I used a Heracross on my Soul Silver and it performed just as (for some, possibly even better) than my other Pokemon. I normally don't use Pokémon that don't evolve because they don't appeal to me/have weak stats/found too late in the game.
