"It's about another ten minutes away, in that direction." Josephine pointed north and watched the female Salamence fly in said direction.

Rachel was still staring at Connor, but snapped out of it long enough to ask him something. "You say Team Rocket is gonna be in trouble from you... but what did they do to you?"

Josephine opened her mouth to speak, but stopped upon noticing a Pokémon stumble into her line of sight. It was a small yellow and white shrew, which was visibly trembling. The Ground type had black eyes, a short inward curving tail and stubby, pointed ears. As it uttered drawn out, squeaky cries of "Shrew!" Josephine noticed that the poor creature was distracted and had no idea its path had brought it to a trainer.

"That's a Sandshrew!" Josephine spoke softly while referring to her Pokédex. "According to the Pokédex, they're not even supposed to be on Route 1." She flicked the device closed and glanced at the Sandshrew, before turning to her Pokémon with a firm expression on her enthusiastic face. "We can't just leave it here. We should try and capture it and take it to the Pokémon Centre in Volfrost City for a health check."

The Sandshrew heard Josephine. Glaring at Riley indifferently as if to say <You aren't worth my time.>, he nevertheless straightened his posture and held up his claws, before lunging at the Shinx.

That's a Scratch attack, the red-haired girl thought. "Riley, dodge and then use Tackle!"

<I can't let them have perished for nothing. I must remain free,> the shrew thought.

Riley agilely circumvented the emotion-spurred attack. The Electric type ran forward, with her claws outstretched. She then delivered a single strike to Sandshrew's chest. Shrugging off the Tackle attack, as if it hadn't struck him at all, the clearly troubled shrew charged forward once more. It was at this moment that Josephine realized that it was more than just emotion that had goaded the Ground type into action. She knew that he would fight to the death to uphold more than just his honour.

<My kind eat shrews like you!> Riley's speech was once again out of character for the cheeky, Kantonian-born Sinnoh Pokémon. The Electric type's speech had fulfilled its intended purpose, however. His anger rising, the emotional Sandshrew leaped up and fell onto Riley, forcing her to use her claws to defend herself.

Jeez, that's gotta hurt, Josephine shook her head slightly and winced at the sight of her Pokémon crashing into a nearby tree.

<Oww,> Riley said, winded, before recovering enough to rise to her clawed paws. Sandshrew had survived the 'crash landing' as he had curled up into a ball before impact. Uncurling himself, he marched over to where Riley was and thrust a clawed paw at the Electric feline's throat, the cat of whom froze at the action.

Relatively uncommunicative as he was, his lone sentence that day would be what stood out in the Shinx's mind for many a day to come. <Don't… insult… shrews.> Sandshrew's breathing was laboured and raspy, as if just saying those three words hurt that badly.

Oh-kay, I think it's time I kicked it up a notch, Josephine believed it was time to rack up a capture and be on her way to Volfrost. "All right, Riley! Let's go! Give it all you've got!" the fourteen-year-old girl yelled, before Sandshrew could muster up a counter-attack.

<Yes, mistress!> The Electric feline replied decisively. The Shinx let out a frustrated cry and let loose a ferocious lunge attack that completely caught the Ground type off guard. Riley barrelled into the sandy coloured shrew and fastened her minute fangs on his throat. Clamping down, a bit of blood spurted out.

Wha-? Whoa! I didn't think Riley had it in her! Josephine looked shocked.

<You'll pay for that,> the shrew vowed mentally, as he looked himself over after pushing the cat Pokémon away. One paw defiantly wiped away a tiny amount of blood and he was starting to weaken, thanks to the throat bite. He tensed, his arms raising his sharp claws as he prepared for another attack.

Bugger, what now? The red-haired trainer thought, panicking slightly. That Sandshrew is still going strong, he's not slowing down at all! I suppose I could make use of Scratch, but still…

"Riley! Here's what we're gonna do! Dodge Sandshrew's current attack and counter with a Tackle and Leer combination!" Josephine yelled out.

<Understood,> the female feline answered.

For what she hoped was the last time today, Riley took a step forward and widened her yellow eyes. The Sandshrew opened his mouth in a silent gasp as the effects of the Leer attack seized him and he shivered involuntarily. Then, as the shrew struggled to regain his composure, Riley rushed in and, with a few well-placed bodily shoves, managed to reduce his energy even more.

<I've failed them,> was the shrew's last thought before falling to the grassy ground. One paw was all that was supporting him as he breathed arduously.

Josephine heaved an empty Poké Ball at the yellow and white being that was doubled over on the ground. After several seconds of struggling, Sandshrew finally resigned himself to capture.

"YEAH! WE CAUGHT SANDSHREW!" Josephine cheered, reaching for her newest Pokémon's containment device and smiling widely.

At that exact moment, as if it had delayed responding on purpose, Josephine's Pokédex switched itself on and recorded Sandshrew's information. "Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokémon – a Pokémon of the Ground type. To protect itself from attackers, Sandshrew curls up into a ball. They live in arid regions with minimal rainfall."

<What?> Riley asked, just as Josephine face-faulted.

"SERIOUSLY, PEOPLE!" the teen screamed in annoyance. "Why the hell didn't my Pokédex tell me that before I tried to catch Sandshrew?!"

Connor gave Rachel a nice smile and said: "Whoever messes with my homies gets the full dose! And, i must say, the only reason i am hear is because Latios decided that i should mess with these guys. So why not get right to it?"
Connor watched the whole shrew scene in utter despair. "Ok, let me get this straight: There's a dying guy here that needs help badly and Team Rocket probably just managed to capture a time traveling super pokemon and then you see some poor confused Pokemon and decide it would be a good idea to go ahead and waste time and energy to fight it. Is that correct?" Connor explained in a sarcastic tone. "God, the first second it's like 'Oh noeesssss he diess when we nots bring him to helps!' and then the next one 'Oh look at shiiny thing!" Connor chuckled. "No offense, but: Is this mission now serious or not?"

Comet~* has left so a space is now open.

Amaya watched curiously, eyes filled with interest. Maybe we'll be better off with these people.

Jirachi giggled. Of course you will.

"Says you. You're as nervous as I am," she muttered to the air. Miru suddenly squirmed. The Ralts pointed toward the huddle, where one was resting on the ground, expression pained. Another, a female, was trying to catch a Pokemon. She sweatdropped slightly and turned a concerned gaze toward the fallen boy.

Amaya placed Miru beside her and walked over to the red-head, who was turned away from her. Reluctantly, she tapped her on the shoulder, forcing her power back.

"Excuse me," she began. "But is there anyway I can help? That boy there doesn't look too good."

A few days after the accident Orion and Luna had decided to go back to the leavane city for a first aid kit just encase something like that was to happen again.

Orion riding on Luna patted her back to signal her to go down " Ok girl lets go down ok there seems to be a pokemart there"

Luna flew swiftly down in front of the pokemart.Orion jumped off and reached in his belt to pull out his pokeball " ok luna return...."Luna's pokeball shot out a red beam returning her in her pokeball.

"Hmpp That was a long ridee........hopfully they'll have everything ill need in here" Orion walked in the door hearing a ringing bell.

The clerk looked at Orion " Hey there,Is there anything i can help you with today"

Orion continued to look around the shop" well nothing right now.... Ill just see what i can find for myself" Orion picked up a large kit of the shelf (This should do ) Orion went over to the desk how much will this cost

The clerk ran it over the sensor" Your total comes to 600" Orion digged in his pocket and pulled out 1000 "Huh ok" orion plucked the 600 from the 1000 and put the remaining 400 back in with the rest.

The clerk gave the kit to orion. and Orion put the lit and his backpack..Afterward Orion walked out of the pokemart and decided to do a little sight seeing while his out here.

It didn't take much to piss Josephine off. She saw Connor's sarcasm at her capturing Sandshrew as an attack, and so she snapped back. "Okay, Chosen of Latios! You think you're the smart one, huh?! If you think you're capable of handling Team Rocket by yourself, because of what they have done to Tyler, then feel free to go ahead and bash them all you like! I hear the first base is in Volfrost! Alternatively, you can stay with us and put up with whatever one of us does. It's your choice. Are you staying or leaving?!" Josephine glared at the boy, with one hand thrust upon her hip.

Rachel's eyes narrowed warily when she saw a girl tap Josephine on the shoulder, but her friend was so angry that she hardly even felt it. So the lavender-haired teen went over to the girl with the Ralts and spoke with her. "I'm sorry," she began. "It's just not a good day for my best friend at the moment. Is there anything I can help you with? Tyler? Yeah, he should be at Volfrost by now. We should get going if we wanna get there before nightfall."

"YES, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! THE MISSION IS NOW SERIOUS!!" Josephine yelled, in response to Connor's last question.

Amaya stared at the yelling red-head. Her eyes widened with alarm. Miru hid behind her trainer's leg, pink horns glowing from the intense emotions. They turned to the lavender-headed girl, who gave her an apology.

She smiled and shook her head. "Oh no it's fine really. I don't mind." Miru peeked her head out and gazed at the girl in interest. Amaya glanced at the fallen boy and walked over. For a moment she paused. "You are headed to Volfrost as well? May I join you?" Kneeling down, she held out a hand toward Tyler's head. Closing her eyes she placed it on his chest.

Kai watched as a young girl stood yelling at a boy near her, he looked at them with an emotionless and serious face. He thought to himself

" Seems to me the girl has a short fuse "

Kai stood and watched them bicker like children " Are any of you interested in a battle? " He yelled from ontop of a tree.

"I'll take you on," Rachel answered the challenge.

Paul watched the Ralts trainer put her hand on Tyler's chest. "What are you doing?" he asked, curious.

Kai jumped down from the tree and landed infront of them, he then grabbed a pokeball from his belt. Get ready he said.

" Chimchar Go! " Kai said as he through the ball and exploded with light as chimchar appeared.

Sorry about this Proddit.

---------------------------

"I am seeing past the eyes of the normal," she stated dreamily, slowly falling into the trance as her mother had taught her. "Into the mind, past it's boundaries. Now, the doors open and answers are found." Her eyes glazed and she slumped, hand still on Tyler's chest. Miru stared blankly, horns beginning to glow. In her backpack, Jirachi giggled. This was the fun part.

Anger and hatred boiled wildly through his veins. Around him the world shifted, the forest howling with pain. The night sang sweetly above his head. Flying through the trees, he surged to the sky. Darkness enveloped him like a cloak. Kill them, he thought to himself. I must kill them. He raised his small arms and leaves began to fly. He fired at the air.

Amaya gasped, forcibly pulled from the trance. Miru let out a cry of alarm and she hurriedly scooped up the creature, removing her left hand from Tyler's chest. She shuddered, quietly trying to soothe her Pokemon.

Rachel's dual typed Growlithe clone was at her side in no time. "Laverne, let's start things off with Water Gun!"

Despite not wanting to get involved, Paul lunged forward and held Amaya. "Are you okay? What did you see?" he asked, worried for the girl's safety.

Kai looked wide eyed " what the?? a fire type that can use water " he smirked arrogantly, "this will be easier then I thought".

" Chimchar, dodge and use Tackle! " Chimchar charged the growlithe.

Amaya shivered below glancing up at the auburn-haired teen holding her. She nodded slowly, eyes still glazed slightly. "Yes...I'm..." She stroked Miru's head and the Pokemon quietly mimicked her Trainer, gazing up at Paul. "I'm alright," she said after another minute, eyes clear. "Celebi... the forest... we can't go near the forest. Not at night, not alone. He will strike and kill us if we do. Volfrost is... its a trap. Covered, the destination is choked in darkness..."

The next day Orion is now stepping out of a clothing store. Orion steps out of the clothing store with a white and blue cap on.A white t-shirt with a red letters going diagonally saying Rebirth which is under a black sleeveless unbutton vest.

Orion grabbed the peak of cap and looked up (Ive been here long enough.....) His face begin to show resolve (Its time for me to enter this little game......Volfrost city...)

Orion sprung into the "Luna lets go" He threw a pokeball into a shining light begin to emerge from the creases in the pokeball, finally a bright florescent light exploded out the pokeball revealing Orions garchomp Luna. While in the air Orion jumped on Luna's back and
soared towards volfrost city

"Garrrrr......Chomp" The garchomp maneuvered through the air gracefully. Heading towards Volfrost City.

Orion flew over towards Volfrost city but decided to Rest over by a spot near the Forest ( It might be best to just go through the forest) Orion unpacked everything.Him and luna ate and got ready for bed.

Luna and Orion Slept under a tree.

"Laverne, Tackle him back!" Rachel shouted.

Josephine started to calm down, after her outburst at Connor.

Paul looked at Amaya and, for the first time, felt a weird emotion for her. He looked at the others. "We have to listen to Amaya," he said, looking briefly at his two friends.

Amaya stared at him. He believed her! Really? That's... no one's ever done that! She smiled. "Thank you," she stated sincerely. "Thank you for listening."

Jirachi giggled. See? Told you you'd be fine.

Liar. You were as nervous as I was.

So? She giggled, despite the situation. Paul glanced at her curiously. "Sorry. Jirachi is being silly." Miru's horns shined brighter, causing the Pokemon to smile and stare at them shyly. She stared at him. "What are you thinking Miru?" The Pokemon blushed and said nothing.

"The old run and hide trick, huh?" Rachel seemed confident. "Not having any of that, I'm afraid. Laverne, full-powered Water Gun into the hole!"

Josephine faced Amaya and her rival. It's easy to tell what Paul's thinking. He's falling in love with her, she told everyone telepathically.
