Ah, I remember the good old days when phones were used for calling people. Those were the days...

Texting while listening to your music and surfing the internet is the future...get with the program David. The more dangerous the better.

I don't see anything too special about it. I mean there are other phones just like it, but whatever.

That phone looks terrible in my opinion. I like how Jobs described it as "Magical" and would "would "revolutionise the industry"

Magical = Is able to make money fall out of your pocket.
Revolutionise the industry = Be painful to use.

It won't surprise me if, like Windows on some phone systems, will crash quite often.

I concur. Now it's "text" this, "ringtone" that.

    XD

It's supposed to be like $500 and that's waaay too expensive for me...I don't care what phone I have as long as I can talk to people.

Haha. I agree. I remember the good old days when phones were just for calling. Back when they were connected to wires. What will we get on our phones now? Watch they put some sort of tazar option. Maybe a mace?

Still if it is too expenive then it is not worth it. I mean I just want a phone to talk on with my friends. MP3 is for music. Computer for internet.

I think it's way to overpriced for a phone but i think the design's kinda cool

Can you even call that thing -just- a phone?

The thing's gorgeous though. I guess it would be nice to have. But it's not really something in my taste.

I really can't wait to get my hands on one. I would have been more impressed if they added a T.V. feature. Then I would never have to leave my room. Except for food and to go to the bath room. But in a year, i'm sure that some company will make something even better so I wouldn't get too exited over this.

I'm gonna have to disagree on the fact that Windows Mobile as of now is quite a stable OS. Plus, on my Phone Edition device, I haven't had many problems with it, considering it's actually Windows, y'know?

This is the only thing that stops me from completely wanting this apparently attractive marvel. It's just waaay to expensive, even for the amount of memory.

Well it is a PDA phone, and touch screens usually do scratch easily.

Once again I'm gonna have to disagree with you. XD Unless you really use the on-screen keyboard/letter recognizer a lot, it doesn't really tend to scratch, and most of the smudges can just disappear with a wipe of a small cloth.

However, since this is just glass, from what appears to be in the photos, maybe it is a little more scratch-vulnerable in comparison to most PDAs in the market. Much like the iPod Nano, but we'll see. Multi-touch seems to definitely be a plus, and who knows what the possibilities might be for development of this feature.

Overall, my opinion on the iPhone's quite good. The only downside is seriously the price, compared to most Smartphones in today's market. We'll see if they actually end up reconsidering the price for PAL-land. :P

I think it's overrated, overhyped and overpriced; I certainly wouldn't buy one (though I'm not an Apple fan anyway). Sure, it looks nice and all, but when it comes down to it I'd rather have a real phone. With buttons. I've plenty of MP3 players, don't need another.

Though the iPhone may just be overated you must admit the features within the phone are awesome i mean somebody told me that a couple of months after the release of the iPhone there will be ways to protect it so if you lose it no one else can take it for grabs because there is supposed to be a digital figerprint scanners within the phone to make only useful to you and no one else man phones with security fingerprint scanners i feel like im in the year 2455. MAN I LOVE THE NEW APPLE TECHNOLOGY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For $500 I would much rather have a Playstation3. By 2008 it might be less than that.

I so want one shame i live in the UK on orange so i can't import :(
