About fucking time, I guess. Although again it shows that once again Apple is last to implement standards.

Well, the new iPads use it, so it's only logical that iPhones would be next. It's about time though - USB-C is something all companies should embrace.

I... thought they'd done this one or two iPhones ago, lol.

One of the best things in my life is the fact that my macbook, phone, and switch all use usb-c so i can mostly use the same charger for all of them in a pinch. And not having to pay attention to which way I'm inserting the cable? Godlike. USB-C is great and I wish everything used it.

finally they're learning lmao, feels bad that they didn't do this earlier though

now if only they could phase out the micro usb faster :')
then i can only stick to one charging cable and not three

Honestly though, I really wish Apple would at least learn to pick up standards faster than this. I understand they want to be proprietary and all, which is fine with internals, but not so much connectors tbh.
