That's totally spam. One of you ban him~con said:i know, luckily, i don't get in trouble by them, just hyroi chan
Kura said:Con, the only reason why you'd get in trouble is if you were breaking the rules o_o;
So.. if you're getting in trouble from Hyroi Chan, then you should re-read the rules so you don't get in trouble anymore ._.;;
You should still use proper grammar/capitilization though ;xcon said:i know, i know, that is what i did. I haven't got in trouble in a week! I am on a no spamming spree, and i am making sure i don't get banned, since i got 2 warnings in the same day.
Try to make longer posts, or else you will get in trouble.con said:than try not to, like me!!!

And that lime green is unreadable. =/
Yeah, but when you're in the DCC, you mindswell say something worth reading. I don't like one or two sentence posts.con said:obviously, if this post was too short, it wouldn't let me post it. It would've gave me a "the minimum characters are 25" message. also, when someone uses a light format, I highlight it.
Just hitting the minimum character requirement isn't necessarily a good thing, you know. We do prefer people to make longer, more intelligent-sounding posts. :3con said:obviously, if this post was too short, it wouldn't let me post it. The absolutely original DCC was complete love. Boy, those were the days. Back then "The One Above^" was like the SPAM thread.*~Ashley~* said:Just hitting the minimum character requirement isn't necessarily a good thing, you know. I miss the days when I was able to make "essay" posts and people would read them and reply back with lengthy posts. ;_;
But it takes so long to read length posts. Short posts are where it's at. XD*~Ashley~* said:Just hitting the minimum character requirement isn't necessarily a good thing, you know. We do prefer people to make longer, more intelligent-sounding posts. :3

...and unfortunatley most of PC has that lazy mindset. Long posts that actually contain content made PC look much more intelligable. Now I've pretty much lost the ability to make long posts because it's rare that there's ever a topic worth posting more than a sentence or two about.Shikon no Tama said:But it takes so long to read length posts. Most of the time, long posts are totally forgotten. I used to love making long lengthy posts, but that was a long time ago because I ever came to PC. I would make posts that were paragraphs long just discussing a simple point. Although I never did have a big post count because of it, I did find that making long posts was quite worthwhile.*~Ashley~* said:...and unfortunatley most of PC has that lazy mindset. When people made longer posts, the DCC was not a spamfest full of two-sentence posts, so it was not moving anywhere near as fast as it does now. So you didn't have to worry about missing pages of posts. <<; The topics back then were actually worth discussing too.

As far as I can see, the intellectual days are far gone. ;o;DragonTrainer said:I miss the intellectual days ;_;

PC is now more like Gaia in terms of overall member intelligence. For every intelligent member, there are at least ten n00bs. The proportions are greater at Gaia, with a 1337:n00b ratio of 1:1000 at the very least; I can't deny the fact that there are some truly brilliant members among its populace, but the n00b infestation is just plain out of control there. It's disgusting, really.Paul said:PC used to be much inteligente.
Granted, there are times when a one-liner is adequate enough for the purposes of a discussion, but still. XPAleksandra said:But it takes so long to read length posts. Short posts are where it's at. XD
It's pretty much human nature nowadays to be lazy. What more can I say, really? The lot of us have fully embraced sloth. Ironically, the slothful ones tend to be quite swift when posting... Read my above reply to Ashley regarding sloth. And who cares if the topic changes? You can edit your post to reply to the new topic as well...or just draft a new one.Aleksandra said:And well, people nowadays just prefer to make shorter posts. And as almost anyone can see, posts here in the DCC are so tremendously short. But then again, making too long of a post can sometimes cause you to type for minutes while the topic slowly changes so it does tend to get you confused when the topic changes.
There is a way to get them back. We just haven't found it yet.Aleksandra said:As far as I can see, the intellectual days are far gone. ;o;
