Con, the only reason why you'd get in trouble is if you were breaking the rules o_o;
So.. if you're getting in trouble from Hyroi Chan, then you should re-read the rules so you don't get in trouble anymore ._.;;

That's totally spam. One of you ban him~

;3

Sucks that you get in trouble. Kelsey got me in trouble for something and I was like "wha...?"

i know, i know, that is what i did. I haven't got in trouble in a week! I am on a no spamming spree, and i am making sure i don't get banned, since i got 2 warnings in the same day.

You should still use proper grammar/capitilization though ;x

Anyways, getting in trouble sucks. I hate whenever I get into trouble on PC x_x

Try to make longer posts, or else you will get in trouble.

And that lime green is unreadable. =/

obviously, if this post was too short, it wouldn't let me post it. It would've gave me a "the minimum characters are 25" message. also, when someone uses a light format, I highlight it.

Yeah, but when you're in the DCC, you mindswell say something worth reading. I don't like one or two sentence posts.

They just don't have enough content to be worthwhile. Nothing but boosting your post count.

Just hitting the minimum character requirement isn't necessarily a good thing, you know. We do prefer people to make longer, more intelligent-sounding posts. :3

I miss the days when I was able to make "essay" posts and people would read them and reply back with lengthy posts. ;_;

The absolutely original DCC was complete love. Boy, those were the days. Back then "The One Above^" was like the SPAM thread.

PC used to be much inteligente.

But it takes so long to read length posts. Short posts are where it's at. XD

Yeah, who wants to be reading a post for five minutes, respond, but has been reading the post so long that everyone's topic changed! That is so annoying!

...and unfortunatley most of PC has that lazy mindset. Long posts that actually contain content made PC look much more intelligable. Now I've pretty much lost the ability to make long posts because it's rare that there's ever a topic worth posting more than a sentence or two about.

When people made longer posts, the DCC was not a spamfest full of two-sentence posts, so it was not moving anywhere near as fast as it does now. So you didn't have to worry about missing pages of posts. <<; The topics back then were actually worth discussing too.

Most of the time, long posts are totally forgotten. I used to love making long lengthy posts, but that was a long time ago because I ever came to PC. I would make posts that were paragraphs long just discussing a simple point. Although I never did have a big post count because of it, I did find that making long posts was quite worthwhile.

And well, people nowadays just prefer to make shorter posts. And as almost anyone can see, posts here in the DCC are so tremendously short. But then again, making too long of a post can sometimes cause you to type for minutes while the topic slowly changes so it does tend to get you confused when the topic changes.

As do I. ;_; I miss my essay posts.

Moony -- Yeah, but like I said, when everyone is making quality posts, you don't have to worry about the topic changing. The length of the post you just made is the length I wish people could acheive. I can't understand how some people complain that 25 characters and 4 words is too much for one post...

Edit: Not that last post, Moony... the long one before that. XD;

Kinda makes me wish I had joined this place sooner... ;;

PC is now more like Gaia in terms of overall member intelligence. For every intelligent member, there are at least ten n00bs. The proportions are greater at Gaia, with a 1337:n00b ratio of 1:1000 at the very least; I can't deny the fact that there are some truly brilliant members among its populace, but the n00b infestation is just plain out of control there. It's disgusting, really.

Granted, there are times when a one-liner is adequate enough for the purposes of a discussion, but still. XP

It's pretty much human nature nowadays to be lazy. What more can I say, really? The lot of us have fully embraced sloth. Ironically, the slothful ones tend to be quite swift when posting... O.o;

And once again, you're making making me wish that I had joined sooner. In fact, why don't you try reviving one of those topics? Why don't you try giving the DCCers something meaningful or at the very least interesting to talk about?

Read my above reply to Ashley regarding sloth. And who cares if the topic changes? You can edit your post to reply to the new topic as well...or just draft a new one.

As far as I can see, the intellectual days are far gone. ;o;
There is a way to get them back. We just haven't found it yet.

...

The mere fact that con got 2 warnings in the same day should make it clear that he is utterly unfit for life at PC. Hell, I'm surprised he hasn't been banned already. They'd probably tolerate his crap at Gaia, where you can't take so much as half a step without running into a mountain of spam, but you shouldn't tolerate it here.

While Ryan obviously has a greater deal of intelligence than con, he needs to improve his spelling, capitalization, and punctuation; he has grammar and sentence structure down, and he actually has something to contribute to discussions, but still.
