Arcanine vs Houndoom

Arcanines better.On the old first gen pokemon it was meant to be a legendary but they chose moltres instead and thats when they got legendary birds...true story:)

Arcanine has a overall better design, better stats, and Houndoom only has a slightly better movepool (still sucks like Arcanine though). The only thing that would give Houndoom superiority would be Nasty Plot, and having another STAB that has alright coverage. Arcanine has one of the best abilities in the game too: Intimidate (competitively).

Houndoom, hands down because I'm starting to like Dark type Pokemon more now (thanks to Spiritomb). Arcanine gets on my last nerves

I personally dislike the way Arcanine is in the anime, it's really huge and works weird. I like Houndoom though. Arcanine is amazing in the games though.
