What do you think about the Alpha Pokémon?

If there is gonna be an Omega Pokemon then it would probably bring the end, as the Alpha Pokemon brought the beginning. So it is not necessarily the last Pokemon.

But have you noticed how all the GB/GBA/DS games don't follow eachother? Like, in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, you hear nothing about how Team Aqua/Magma threatened the world with a drought/flood, even though it happened in the last game! So the next game probably won't even involve Arceus at all. This is just a theory though..

I did not say anything about the next game involving Arceus.

True, but you said they would have a Pokemon that would bring the end. If they didn't mention Diamond/Pearl, then that means they probably might not mention Arceus...Which means they would need another Pokemon to start it all, seeing as Arceus isn't in the picture anymore...which would start a rather dangerous cycle. Like I said, it's just a theory...obviously not correct, but a t h e o r y...

Or the Omega Pokemon could attempt to bring upon the end but is stopped by something, just because it is called the Omega Pokemon does not mean it would succeed (or is just too lazy to do so) to bring the end it would just be capable of it. Just like if Arceus was lazy and did not want to bring upon the beginning it would be capable of doing it but it just did not do it.

So what would be the point of that? ::

Prof. ??: [You're Name Here], this Pokemon could bring upon the end of the world! Destruction everywhere, millions of people and Pokemon alike dead!..But it seems to be too busy eating to take any interest in us, so...

[You]: Ok...so what am I suppose to do until then?

Prof. ??: I dunno...Why don't you, uhhh, go and complete this Pokedex here for me, and I'll page ya when the Pokemon's ready to kill us all.

It just wouldn't make sense for Nintendo to make a Pokemon that could to something great/terrible, but didn't.

LOL! Ummm, just to make us laugh! But in a more serious scenario it could be that it is busy gathering enough energy to bring upon the end and you main goal is to stop it.

Yes, that would be a very good scenario. I would play it =]
But, on another note, that's the same scenario (basically) as every other game. Evil Team is gathering information etc on the legendary so they can take over the world. I'm rather hoping GameFreak will come up with something new for the 5 Gen (if there is one). Maybe they might have it where the Evil Team actually succeeds and you must defeat this ultimate Pokemon they discover/create in order to save the world.

Yes! That would be superb! As I am tired of playing the same story over and over and over again!
Yeah but in my scenario the evil team is not influencing it, it is doing it on its own will.

Lol, true, true...Well either way, I'm sure GameFreak will find something to keeps it's player entertained in the (hopefully) pokemon 5th Gen.

Wow, looking at all our posts, we should have made our own thread xD we discussed a lot!

Indeed, we should have. I am sure people will get bored with the classic story line, thus GameFreak will have to change their ways to get us to buy more.

I still think Mew is the best, and he always will be in my opinion. But Arceus is powerful, I'm not going to disagree.

In battles, Arceus is almost impossible to counter because there is no way of knowing what plate he is holding, and whether he be a sweeper, tank or wall, or any job really.
