Ok, look at what the missing file is (the thing that pops up says the number)

Write it down, and then go to google.
Type in that number, then file download.

A website has it, and you can download it for free.

Then, open a-text and put it in the folder.
 
mine works fine so i dont know
 
it depends, what did you do to get that?
If you used A-Text, then you can't put more characters than in the original message.

If you scripted it, then that must be your message :)
 
Im searching for tools for Fire Red,
are there tools that will help me do this?
Edit Names of Trainers
Edit Pokemon That trainers have
Edit what tainers say after you beat them (during the battle, not in the overworld)
Edit trainer sprites, pokemon back sprites and trainer back sprites
(I SEARCHED THE TOOLBOX AND COUDNT FIND ANY THAT DID THIS)

1. A-text, hex, PET.
2. PET or Hex.
3. Hex or A-Text.
4. unLZ-GBA.

I was learning how to make scripts from a tutorial. I just inserted a simple talking script and when I tested it those weird signs came out.
 
Is there a Pokémon editor that works with Crystal? If so, can you please link/point in the right direction.

If I knew how, I would. Unfortunately, I have no such skills.

I heard about a Pokémon Amplifier for G/S/C (I think), but I've had no luck in finding it.

Are you sure there's nothing?
 
How do i rename a ROM, but keep it as a GB/GBC/GBA file? Whenever I try to rename it, it becomes just a regular file. =S
 
I have a problem.

I just got sent a patch of a ROM, and i'm scripting for it. After i'm done scripting and save it it doesn't save. On the VBA it's as if i never put anything there.

And don't say its my script, i made sure it was correct, and even if it wasn't, thats no reason for the ROM not to save.

Uhmm, maybe the problem is your rom, sometimes that happens ^^
