I was just wondering, who is picky when it comes to natures?

Personally, I don't mind. Even though they say it can improve your Pokemon, it's never brought despair to me...

In game I don't care what natures my Pkmn have but when I'm training for competitive battling I am very specific and will waste hours breeding to get the right natures and IV's.

    hec yea

i am it is important to have good natured pokemon especially when youre facing me

Lately, I've been training for online and BT battles, so yes, I am quite picky (even down to SRing for the Latias). But quite often, if a Pokémon is a pain to find (like Porygon for example), I'll settle for a neutral nature. I also have a ditto to breed with in case I still want to find the right nature.

In the end though, a 10% difference becomes quite significant from one Pokémon to another.

It's not being picky, it's being competitive.

If you want to survive and win in the wifi grid-iron then you must use the correct natures to give your sets the proper boost thus giving you a better chance in battle.

So I'm not picky, I'm competitive.

    Exactly what BeachBoy said.

I definately do, say you have a pokemon you want to use as a physical attacker, you wouldn't want a modest nature which would decrease it's atk and increase its sp.atk, you know?

I never was really picky with natures. I don't battle over wi-fi much, mostly with friends. I just train my teams as-is.

I'm only picky if I'm EV training for competetive battling. I spent hours trying to breed a Feebas with a Calm nature, and an Eevee (now an Espeon) with a Modest or Mild nature.

As it has been said, its vital for competetive battling. So yeah, im "picky", although its not the best description

Well I am, even though I don't go competitive.
But I only start doing so when I restarted Ruby.
When I played Diamond I didn't, and well, my Lonely Lucario had Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse,Dragon Pulse..... It does seem a waste...

I usually am picky. But if I find a Ninjask with a Naive instead of Jolly, I wouldn't mind. X_X

Yeah, they have to be a good nature, or else I eat them for dinner. But yeah, once they throw in IVs, and you have to get one with good IVs and Natures, I get cranky. >( I barely ever find a Bold Blissey, and they ask me to get one with good IVs too. >:(

Very picky even Ingame I spent 30 minutes fishing for an adamant Magikarp to use on my team and I SR for a GN starter on every game I play i'm just like that.

For Pokemon you can easily breed, yes, extremely picky.

For Pokes you can't breed though (like legends, etc.) I'll settle for the second best nature if I've been soft-reseting for hours.

In game, no, not at all. I could use a modest Machop for all I care.

But when I'm raising a pokemon for competitive battle? Yeah, then I get picky. I spent a whole night breeding Anoriths once, I was about ready to stab myself in the eye with my DS stylus by the time I finally got an adamant one.

On the other hand, I've used pokemon from my main game with funky natures and no EV training and still done well in battles. Really, it's only to give you an extra edge over your opponent.

Personally I dont really have the time nor patience to EV,IV whatever it is and my teams do just fine. As long as I have the right stat quo. For instance I wanted my Lucario to be more into his special attack so I was able to train his to be in the 300's and im satisfied with that. I've beaten tons of my friends who take the time with pokemon maker programs and EV-IV train without a problem.

I used to be when I first started the game but when I last had my poke'mon pearl/diamond, I wouldn't care if the poke'mon nature was, I'll just train them and battle poke'mon against them.
