WELCOME TO THE ROCK-TYPE POKÉMON FAN-CLUB!

RULES:

1. Please follow all of the Pokécommunity rules and guidelines.
2. Remember to be civil! There is no need to be rude or disrespectful and you will be kicked out if you can't play nice.
3. Remember to please keep the conversation focused on the Rock-type!
   (I won't mind the occasional rock-n-roll topic though…)
4. Have fun and don't forget to participate! (seriously… don't)

MECHANICS:

1. Starters: You'll be picking a starter when you first sign up for the club, but unlike other clubs, your starter won't be a Pokémon; you'll be picking a Fossil!
2. You can have a fossil revived after posting three times, after which point you'll ready to go out on your very own journey to become the greatest Rock-type specialist! Rock on!
3. Catching a basic Pokémon will cost you three posts.
4. Evolving a Pokémon you already owned will cost you five posts.
5. Obtaining a new fossil will cost you five posts.
6. Legendaries (the two that exist, anyways) are, for the time being, off-limits!
7. Topics: I will try to post a new topic once every two days, but you are completely free to post your very own topics if you want to.
8. If you are posting a new topic, please make sure at least ~24 hours have passed without discussion on the previous one (and remember to keep the topics relevant to the Rock-type!).

Rock-type is one of my top-3 favorite types alongside Poison and Ground types, but I chose to make this club over the others because I'm a sucker for gimmicks, and Fossil Pokémon are one of the best gimmicks ever!​

Favorite Rock-type Pokémon:

Golem, part of my first ever E4-beating team on Pokémon Yellow back in the twentieth century… good times have been had.​

I'm going to go ahead and pick the Plume Fossil… Archen is too cute.​

Sorry Brock, but I have to go with Roark on this one. Like I said, I love a good gimmick, and Roark is the Fossil Maniac, 'nuff said.​

Rock type is one of my favourite because of their defense even though i don't like their vulnerablility to special moves.

Tyrantrum,
Reason for this is because i think this the most cool-looking pokemon, strong and scary also

reason because it's my favourite.

I got to say, I always hated the way Ash beat Brock's Onix in the anime, it was a huge fluke, 10/10 Onix wins that match. Anyways, welcome again!

Who's your favorite Rock-type Gym Leader and why?
Roark! I won't argue he's pretty cute and I really liked him in the anime even if his time didn't last long. I'm also a big fan of Roxanne, she's very levelheaded and smart. Beating her with Torchic in RSE was always pretty challenging, especially as a kid since I was adamant on using just one Pokémon because I didn't want to train too many. x'D

New Topic: What is your favorite Rock-type move, and why?

I personally love the move Smack Down! It's power is not great, and it has basically no use competitively because no one is going to stay in on the incoming Earthquake, but within the game I've found it to be extremely helpful and satisfying to pull off, and I just love the thought and logic behind it!

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Seeing that this is my third post, I'm now able to reanimate my Plume Fossil into an Archen! ^^

My favourite move is rollout, i personally like the stratrgical role of the move increasing the defense of user pokemon increases power of it, plus it's power keeps on increasing
