    Bye~!

Awsome tiles! The feel they give is so energetic! so full! This is the style that you gave darkblue that no one could copy, right? These tiles are so full meaning that you could look at them for hours and still not notice everything! You certainly have one of the most unique styles for drawing tiles. However, if you look at the top of alomost all the buildings you will see that the shading is off. The top is dark while the bottom is light...

I like your style it seems very natural like for example the water is not completely crystal clear like the games because in actual life rivers and oceans are never clean there are tiny animals and plants in the water.

    So good job.

Edit: Just noticed something some of your tiles have an evil appeal like the towers and the gravestone...

    Bye~!

Not surprised by your work, Areku-kun. :P

the buildings could use a bit better shading and look like an actual building rather than collapsed xD. Oh well (takes and givess credit)

Hi Lex, your tiles look cool! I really like the trees, the HGSS house, the shrine but the GYMs and the Pyramids look 2D, so they need to be worked on a little.
    Good Luck~ See you carnal!

    I don't know about this..

It looks like the pillowshading was intentional, and because of it, everything looks bad. This, and coupled with the black lines all over the structures, make them look worse, if not awful. It also makes it hard to identify the lightsource, like those GYMs; they look as if one was viewing them from a frontal perspective, instead of a top-down one.

Dithering just worsens up the lot of them, if it doesn't fix them.

Let me explain something to you. Pillowshading, as we know it, is a horrible shading style derived from the lowest depths of hell, brought to the world to bring doom to anything calling itself a sprite. It's lightsource is located between the viewer and the object, which gives this undesired feel to the object being shaded. It's actually be the bane of any spriter looking to improve.

I would naturally go and suggest you to remove it all and look for better style, yet, you seem to have almost EVERYTHING covered in it, which leads me to conclude that it must be a style of yours or some sort, and thus, I can't help much here.

If not removing the pillowshading, I'd suggest you to at least remove most unessesary black lines inside structures and buildings, as they look ugly and stand out much, much more than the areas they cover. Shadowy areas should still keep the blacks around.

Another thing, the water tiles, some trees and the grass look extremely grainy to the point of failure, and some of them are also pillowshaded. Maybe if you smoothed them out, they would look a tad better. I'd say give it a try.

The house looks smooth and well done though, but the excessive dithering gives it a scratchy, rather bad look.

You see, one thing I liked about this was the designs you used, like the GYMs and the pyramids.. They look awesome. If you just could fix up the shading it would look loads better, if not perfect.

Ah y claro, si nesesitas una ayuda o algo, mandate un mensaje. Ahi podre dar mas detalles.

Those tiles are really unique, remind me of Final fantasy series.

Well these are pokemon tiles not final fantasy.(just saying)

Did you completely ignore -Smash's crits? He had some very good points first off. You used pillow shading which is the absolute worst shading technique in the book. In pokemon games and almost all custom tiles the light source is coming from the upper left hand corner. Just saying work on your shadeing skill. Your building designs are fabulous though. But in my opinion your building all look 2D like they belong in paper Mario. Your making the view point from as if your looking straight at it. Not good. I should be a centered-birds eye veiw. (unless its in 3D) Those are my problems with these. All i can say keep spriteing.

    P.S.
Make it so the top part of the pyramid is not hanging over the back like it is.

Here's the correct translaton in German for your tileset credits.

Gibt Credits falls ihr das Tileset benutzt.
Erwähnt meinen Namen falls ihr das Tileset benutzt.

    Hope that helps =)

Well, I think the correct German translation is
Gebt Credits, wenn ihr/du die Tiles benützt.

The Tiles are really good. But I think this arent good outdoor tiles for a Pokemon game. Maybe for a Gym indoor are some tiles good.....
