3rd Gen ~ArmyGuy's Shiny Challenge~

    ~Shiny Hunter Challenge~​

    Alright Guys, I noticed alot of challenges around here; but never a Shiny Challenge. So I'm making one. I do expect this challenge to take a good while; but hey, It'll be fun!​

    Now for the oh-so-important rules:​
    1. This IS a race!! The first person finished will get a special banner made by your's truly!​

    2. You may only SR [Soft-Reset] for THREEout of six shinies needed!​

    3. To win you must have a full team of shinies!​

    4. I expect screenshots as proof of shinies.​

    5. Update frequently with news on shiny encounters and SR attempts.​

    6. You may do this on any Advance Gen. game.​

    7. NO CHEATING DEVICES WHATSOEVER!​

    Have fun, and happy hunting!​

    It'd take forever, and why did you type white, to make people hightlight it to see it? <_<
     
    It could take forever to find one(in R/S/E), and it may take some time in P/D/Pt. Sometimes it could be coincidence, like finding a shiny Steelix in Victory Road(like mine).

    Can you really wait that long long?
     
    wow...I've been playing emerald/ruby for about 2 years now and I have never come across a single shiny...
     
    Of course i can wait that long, thats why i made this challenge.

    Besides, if you already have access to a Breeding Daycare in one of your games, it wont take as long. Just hacth as many eggs as you can in one day.
     
    It wouldn't take too long in
    D/P/Pt as you get the PokeRadar
     
    What if you already have a shiny (I have Aggron already). Does that one count?

    thats why i did it here, so it's actually a challenge.

    i guess i'll let you use 1 previous shiny. That way coupled with the 3 SR's you only need 2 random encounters/ egg hatched shinies.

    It's about time somebody thought it was fun. I think people just dislike challenge >_>

    People don't dislike challenges, they just dislike getting a team of Pokemon that you have a 1/8167 chance to get.
     
    I don't know why everyone hates it if it's not compulsory. Don't ruin everyone elses fun. i might do it. i'll have a think about it and get back to you
     
    Hmm, I might have to do that after I finish my Pokedex on Sapphire (just bought it lol. My Ruby version is completely, and I mean COMPLETELY, finished aside from XD, Colosseum, and Nintendo Event Pokemon. Might just go fishing for a shiny Carvanha on Sapphire for a while on Feebass route.

    So we have to fish/breed/battle to get the other 3? Okay, that may be too much.. But we'll see.

    ..Find a new full team of shinies, or can this be anything you have hunted before the challenge?

    Then again, I don't think you should count previous SR/Random shinies. I have 4 from this gen. This is a challenge, so we'd have to start from scratch, lower the shiny count, or set a time limit to make it fair for everyone.
