Ash's Final 2 Pokemon

I wouldn't doubt it'd be butterfree, We've always had a main character own a bug pokemon...

First: Butterfree
Second: Heracross
Third: Beautifly

And considering Pokemon knows there was a fan following of butterfree after the mistranslation they made, I wouldn't doubt they'd bring him back... I could see him coming to the rescue and them recognizing him due to the ribbon...

I've always wanted B-Free back, he never had enough time with him, yet they developed a bond very quickly. (Not saying I believe him saying it IS one of his old pokemon, just saying I'm hopin =p) Or heck, if Buizel and Aipom don't get traded, I seriously wouldn't doubt Lapras returning :/

You want to give an actual source, as I don't want to promulgate rumors. Heh.

And like everyone else says, could be anyone. I'll say Totodile -- we need more of that wacky gator. Heh.

yeah todadile is awesome, it would be awesome if ash brought him back

i just checked serebii and they released a new title for a jap episode called Spiritomb and the odd keystone, that could mean a possibiblity of ash geting 1

What do you think Ash's final two pokemon in Sinnoh will be? He already has Pikachu (duh!), Aipom, Turtwig, and Staravia. BUT I have heard from a few sites like Serebii tahat Ash is getting Paul's Chimchar after it loses a battle. The title of the episode Chimchar vs. Zangoose Battle of Fate! kind of gives it away...Plus a later episode title posted called Tears of a Chimchar also implys it. But what will his final Pokemon be? Some people think it will be a Riolu egg some think it will be Gible some hopelessly think it will be a finneon even though it can't battle on land. I hope he will get a Seadra so he can evolve it inoto Kingdra and that will get him a water and dragon type. And some peopple even think that Ash will trade Aipom to Dawn and get Buizel so he can get a water type because Aipom likes contest and Buizel likes battles more. Post your opinion here!
i think ash won't get any water pokemon, i mean like in every region he was he had at least one pokemon which had an advantage so since now he has chimchar which i think will evolve to monferno in the episode chimchars tears/hikazaru's tears. so chimchar/monferno will have advantages to the steel type gym, byron in canalave city and i doubt but it's possible for buizel and aipom to be traded. buizel is happy with dawn even though it wasn't in any contests she uses buizel in battle a lot. about the riolu egg i think either ash or brock will get him. im guessing that hippopatas will go back to ash one day and it will be his. c ya.

well it seems possible for ash to get riolu or hippopatas. i highly doubt he would get a finneon due it cannot battle on land. so what do you think will ash's, dawn's and brock's next pokemon be.

Ash - Sinnoh

Here is the obvious: Ash has an okay team right now -
Pikachu - Electric
We're NEVER going to lose Pikachu.. at least until Pokemon ends lol.
Aipom - Normal
The base type isn't very good for him, though it has some sweet moves. Even so, Staravia (though this detail is very insignificant) covers the normal type already. About 60-75% (including me) of Pokemon fans are agreeing with the fact that Ash will trade Aipom with Dawn's Buizel. Not a bad idea, I'm not saying it stupid. It's just that the Pokemon series is continuously repeating itself, and a random season will be thrown in just to postpone the newest game in the series. However, I do see Buizel as a better choice for Ash - a water, battle-lover is better than a normal, contest-lover. Aipom reminds me of May's Skitty, and it will probably get a role similar to Skitty.
Turtwig - Grass
We actually haven't seen much of Turtwig in several episodes. It's just there, but no significant role since the Gardenia battle. Turtwig had its beginning spotlight, now the main focus for the next episodes will probably be Chimchar. I also do not expect Turtwig to evolve at all, for Torterra is seemingly impossible - Ash and Torterra.. they don't go together.
Also, we know Turtwig for its speed and Paul's Torterra for just plain old brute strength. The main reason they would start off with a speedy Turtwig is to keep that speed throughout the season(s). Once it evolves, it starts to turn into a big tank like Torterra. It is rare for Ash to have such a Pokemon - the only cases have been Snorlax (who they put in mainly for comic reasons in the Orange Islands and to support Ash's team in Johto and Battle Frontier)
Staravia - Normal-Flying
I don't expect Staravia to evolve anytime soon, though it's likely that Ash may get Staraptor towards the end of Sinnoh or in the next season (like return to Kanto..) Staravia is going to return in the Veilstone Gym, though I doubt it'll have a big role. Like Taillow, it'll get it's star moment in the middle of Sinnoh saga.
Chimchar - Fire
Chimchar will be snagging the spotlight most likely until Ash wins the Veilstone gym badge. I expect Chimchar to go head to head against Lucario in the gym battle and manage to win, giving it much more confidence and helping it develop a greater bond with Ash. Chimchar, like Turtwig and Aipom, is probably going to take some time to adjust to Ash's party, as shown when it's surprised by the serenity of Ash's team and rest-times.
I expect Chimchar to evolve only to Monferno, and it may go up against Paul's Electabuzz (maybe even Electivire) or Torterra in the Sinnoh League Finals for the big final finish, and maybe even win, giving Paul a different insight on life
Chimchar will lose its "spotlight" around the time where Ash gets to Crasher Wake's gym in Pastoria, though I expect it to partake in battles against Fantina, Byron, Candice, and maybe even Volkner.
**Buizel - Water
Saying that Ash gets Buizel, we'll have to go with Aipom leaving his team. Buizel fits in well with Ash's team, being the battle type. I don't expect it to evolve to Floatzel, though Floatzel is still a possibility. Other than that, I believe that Buizel has already been developed. There aren't any moves left for it to learn, I guess it'll just have to make up sweet combinations or something.
**Riolu - Fight/Steel
Riolu is a possibility, though I'm not going with it yet. The Anime is very unpredictable at this point, so we can't say anything right now other than Pikachu will stay with Ash... and there will be a big showdown with Paul and Ash towards the end. If Riolu does come (it'll have to be an egg adventure), I don't expect it to evolve till the very very very end of Sinnoh (maybe in the league), or maybe in the next Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/random island adventure.
Those are the possibilities/what I expect to happen, though they probably won't all be true. The Japanese titles ruin some episodes, though.

Paul's team is going to be one of those super powerful teams that has no limit (except no legendaries)
I highly expect him to get a Gaabite, and have it evolve into a Garchomp. He may even encounter Cynthia again and manage to defeat her, proving that he is extremely strong. I'm looking at Paul's final team being:
Electivire - speed powerhouse
Torterra - Extreme strength powerhouse
Garchomp - A mix of the previous two - a super speedy powerhouse
Honchkrow - I guess an annoyer, I expect it to go against Staravia/Staraptor
Weavile - Speed and Special it must be, and it'll probably hold a ton of secrets
*maybe Ninjask/Shedinja - it showed him having a Ninjask in a flashback, same episode as Elekid evolving. I expect it to have a role later
*Magmortar is also a possibility - it is a terrfying fire beast, most likely will be a wild fighter to replace Chimchar and complete Paul's team.

Dawn on the other hand is changing up, but did she lose in Hearthome competition, not even making battle round?
Piplup - I expect to evolve into Prinplup and stop there. It'll go against Kenny's Prinplup/Empoleon later.
Buneary - I expect to evolve as well, Lopunny fits Dawn's team.
Pachirisu - I expect it to learn Last Resort in a fierce competition battle.
**Aipom - Will be rather awkward, but still fit in.
**Eevee - Though May had one, I expect her to evolve into Glaceon/Leafeon...
**Cherubi - This fits Dawn's personality and cute-searcher.

Brock won't change other than Croagunk evolving.
I think that's all!

He won't get Gible haven't you noticed he hasn't really come in direct contact with a dragon Pokemon except for Flygon in the movie and Bagon who already has a trainer (I think) I don't think they are going to change it.

You know orange say he is liek Silver, wouldn't it be posisble for Paul to get a Tyranitar or a Kingdra then?

On topic: Ash's last could be Riolu, but for some reason I doubt it. I wouldn't mind seeing him with it though. But how exactly would it work if he were to get it?

*SPOILERS FROM RECENT POKEMON EPISODE*

Ok, so, after Ash and Paul beat Kohei and Dawn in the finals of the tournament, they were awarded each a soothe bell. Am I the only one who sees Ash giving Dawn/Buneary the soothe bell at one point, or Pikachu giving it to Buneary?

Anyways, I still stick with my Ambipom, not Buizel theory, and it learning something like Water Gun, as Ash's pokemon know weird moves XD (Bulbasaur used Whirlwind against Koga) Last time it was used though... And I'm also sticking with my butterfree theory, that, or Staravia will go back to Rowen for research and Pidgeot will return...

true I saw that episode
Spoiler:

ASH GETS CHIMCHAR AFTER PAUL RELEASES IT DUH AND I THINK HE SOMEHOW GETS EITHER DAWNS PIPLUP OR ANOTHER ONE(MAKING HIM OWN ALL 3 STARTERS AGAIN!)

I wish that Pidgeot or Butterfree would return... I was actually thinking a few weeks ago that Pidgeot might return. I can see Ash recognising it somehow and it goes back into the team... How exciting =]

I wouldn't mind if snorlax came back. I can't see squirtle coming back, but both bulbasaur and totodile could be possibilities? Ash really does like his bulbasaur, although it's more likely he would leave it in Oak's lab, since it has a role as the 'lab's protector'. Noctowl could be a possibility as well, but I think butterfree and pidgeot were probably more popular in the past.

I think charizard's been pulled out too many times in the past to get Ash out of sticky situations. I don't think they'll want to repeat that again, and would be more likely to bring out cyndaquil or bayleef, maybe.

I dunno >: Heracross might come back... although I don't know if he was ever really that popular?

I really hope it's butterfree or pidgeot, anyway =] That would be the coolest.
