Attacked by a Twilight Fan? o.O

The world has gone too far..... O.o

It started as a normal book but then the t shirts and the clubs and now attacks???

Twilight sucks.

Oh dear. It's fans like these that make me embarrassed to like Twilight. o_0
Of course, I adore Harry Potter by like a million kajillion times more, but I wouldn't bash anyone if they didn't like Twilight/Harry Potter. I'm sorry you were attacked, but at least it wasn't acid and a compass...

Oh, you read that story too? My attack isn't nearly as bad as that person's.
AND, there was one where this dude got shot by a signaling rocket. o.O

This definately shows the line between an obsessor and a fanatic. An obsessor will love whatever he or she loves to death (such as me) and a fanatic will love whatever he or she loves to the death (or to the death of others O.O)

That is CRAZY. I'm glad she lost.
she should take an excursion on the fail boat

I wouldn't be surprised if Twitards were the next Mormons or something.
(No offense to those who are)

*knock knock*
"Excuse me, would you like to read the good book?"
"No thanks, I'm Hindu-"
"-I don't mean the Bible, I mean.."
*Opens case of the Twilight series*

There are some who exercise petty violence on me for explaining that a 13 year-old could've written a better book than Twilight (captain underpants anyone)

LOL Captain Underpants

Seriously though, what is in Twilight that makes fangirls physically assault anybody who doesn't like it is beyond me.

that's just insane.

an actual person getting attacked by another for some absurdity book? talk about taking it to the EXTREME >.< oy vey, what are fangirls coming to nowadays :'(

... That's absolutely crazy. o ___o

I've never been physically attacked by a Twitard, but I have a friend who throws an absolute fit whenever I tell him that it's a terrible book. He's all like, "WELL EVERYTHING YOU LIKE SUCKS BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T LIKE TWILIGHT YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD TASTE IN ANYTHING."

It's sorta pathetic. XD''

I wonder if the book is like... brainwashing people or something? XD Seriously. That would be the only explanation for people acting so crazy over a cliche, poorly written book. >____>

Twilight sucks.

I saw people at my school wearing t-shirts today. The shirts proclaimed that they wanted to push one of the characters off a cliff. Shipping wars or something...

Either way, it made me cry inside a little for humanity. Fictional characters, people. Fictional characters...

It's kind of sad how a badly-written book about a sueish self-insert falling in love with a century-old glamrock vampire attracts ravenous fangirls but true literary masterpieces are left to rot in the book shelves. :/ Hence I lose more and more faith in mankind everyday.

I actually saw Twilight being compared favourably to Wuthering Heights the other day, and I just could not believe my eyes. D<

I've often raised the many shortcomings of the series with my two friends who are fans, but they aren't learned enough in the ways of Internet fandom to know what a Mary Sue is. 8D

If that ever happens to me (which it may, because I feel the same way), I will throw logic out the window and start beating the girl up. The dialogue shall go like so:

Random Girl: Manga? That's so dumb. Why don't you read Twilight?
Me: I've read it. It's stupid.
Random Girl: wtf? What's wrong with you?
Me: Nothing. But when a barely-out-of-college girl feels she needs to insert herself into the story, arrive at a random school where no fewer than eighty boys fall in love with her immediately, constantly talk about how not-pretty and undeserving she is, and then end up being constantly saved by a stalker glitter virgin vampire, I'd be a little frightened about her sanity.
Random Girl: *stares blankly, uncomprehending big words*
Me: *slowly* It's...stupid.
Random Girl: HOWDAREUSAYTHATWHATAJERKOHEMGEE.

She would proceed to attack me.

I'd kick her where it hurts, because, while not having the same effect as it does on boys, it still does hurt. I'd then continue to hurt her in any way possible until someone noticed and security showed up.

Even if they thought I started the fight, I wouldn't be sad or scared or anything.

I've done another justice to the world in taking a Twilight hyper-fan down a notch or a half (after all, I doubt they'll ever return to normal), and my mom thinks it's awful too. So if she needed to pick me up at the police station, she'd be like 'I'm so proud of you, honey!'

I read the book for amusement. It was...uhm...interesting.

Renesmee was the bestest. I might change my username. I'm not sure yet. She tried to kill Bella, even though it wasn't intentional. So yeah, she's pretty much my hero =]

Plus, all the police are probably warned now, from all the attacks, to believe the people that were attacked and defended themselves. If they're holding a Twilight book in their hands, especially if it's spattered with blood, they'll be under arrest (hopefully).

So yeah xP

^ Lol. The dialogue actually went somewhat like that. xD

Well, my friends know I've been attacked by a Twitard and deemed me a Twitard magnet. Sooo, they dared me to go to a Twilight convention and rant on it there. They'll videotape it, and send it to the news if they attack me, which they probably will. (According to them)

Should I do it? I'll rant to the skinny girls. xD

I would definitely watch it if it actually showed up on the news. Go for it!

FTW, my friend, at school, did something similar...

My friend: Hey, wanna go tell that girl over there that we hate Twilight? YOU can tell her.

Me: Heck no, I don't wanna lose an organ...

Should I do it? I'll rant to the skinny girls. xD

Skinny girls without strong boyfriends or brothers to back them up...xD *shot*

Can this just be a Twilight Discussion thread? D: I haven't been attacked by anyone, aside from the usual, "omg edward culen is hot in da movie" stuff. But I'd rather just talk about it in general, since...yeah. XD;

I recently watched it this last weekend and I found it to be a pretty good movie. A few things were sorta awkward in it, but I generally found it to be as good as the Harry Potter movies in quality. Aside from the weird parts of him running really fast, cause those bits looks really fake...XD;

@Popwar Bunny: Yes, those running bits were horrendous. x'D Plus that spider monkey thing. o.O

@ Ookami: I ended up not going. xD
My friend went and got pinched. It just made me more of a Twitard magnet, since they said I almost got my head bashed in at a regular book store, and my friend went over to Twitard central and just got pinched. xD
Irony...
