August 2015 Update: Gothitelle is UU

    And here I was hoping that Gothitelle got quick-banned or something.

    Even though its lack of usage made it drop from OU to UU, it can still be used in OU and this means that now UU has to contend with this thing. I suppose that the decreasing usage is nice in that we'll see this thing less and less, but you'll still see the occasional random Goth team anyway.

    Shadow Tag is banned from UU tho.
     
    So if I am understanding this correctly not much has changed, yeah? Sure regular Goth can be used in the lower tiers however it wont really be effective since it's other abilities aren't super great, but the Shadow Tag version will still be used just as effectively in OU. Or am I misunderstanding this?

    On another note seeing Diance at 43 is really surprising to me. Mega Diancie just feels so good to be that low. Not surprised at all by the top 3. Chomp, Lando, and Tran are all so good right now.

    I so had that "but then what will the anti-goth crowd complain about now?" post ready lol. Yeah misleading title though; it's like one of those sidebar internet ads with a picture of gothitelles face photoshopped on some unbelievably buff body and the text "She went from OU to Uber in 7 days! Singles players hate her because of this one shocking secret!"
     
    mega gardevoirs only downfall would be its speed, its an excellent choice if your team doesnt have problems against those pesky 110+
    diancie mega is really good, tough to build around and dedicating a move slot to safely mega evolve would be its problems

    people who used goth arent going to stop using it just because it fell in usage, in fact i am assuming more people will start using to show off their "amazing" use of a low tier mon :/
