Swimming in high school....None of the schools I know of even have their own pool, so I find that odd.

Really? You don't know of any schools with a pool? Now I find that strange since I went to one with a pool. And a whole bunch of the high schools around here have pools, it's not just mine. I never thought it was this rare to have a pool... O_o;

But anyway, consider yourselves lucky your schools don't have pools. Having to swim mid-way through the school day is not fun. Then you're all soaking wet and chlorine-covered for the rest of the day. x_x

Well, yeah... I wish I had it last period of the day. I mean, there are showers in the locker room and stuff... but we only had like, ten minutes to get dried off and change to go back to class, so yeah. <<;

But they can't have it just at the end of the day... it's just not possible for 150 students to all be in the pool during the same period. XD;

My high school had a pool too. I never liked having Swimming in Gym class because yeah, you smell like chlorine the rest of the day. I went swimming at college tonight though, actually. It's nice because the dorms are really warm right now, so you can cool off, then come back and get a shower.

Good, I'm not the only one here that went to a high school with a pool. XD;

And I haven't started college yet... I don't move into my dorm until Tuesday and my classes start Wednesday~

That's cool. My classes started on Monday. I'm ready for the weekend already. XD

What, you only got one pool at your school...... NM. I'm betting all you had was one or two (no AC so good chance with one pool XD). They only give you 10 mins? That's sort of short... and that was everyday?

Most people I know started this week too... I feel so left out since I'm pretty much the only one I know that hasn't started school yet. XD;

But I'm going to enjoy my last week of living at home. I'll definitely miss having my own room. <3

Andy-- Why on earth would we need more than one pool at my school? o.o;; And I told you... they're putting AC in this year. <<;;

If I recall correctly... it was twice a week, not everyday. And yeah, they usually gave us only 10 minutes to get ready for class... that really sucked...

Yeah, my friend is the same way. He's like the only kid from my town that didn't leave for school yet, so he's lonely and bored. o.o

Exactly. ._. Well, I do have one other friend that hasn't moved away to her dorm yet, so we're going to spend tomorrow at Six Flags to kill our boredom. It's so weird hearing all my friends talk about college and how much they love/hate it while I'm still sitting at home. o.o

Which Six Flags are you going to? I went to the one in New Jersey a few months back. It was a pretty good park with the exception or 2 or 3 coasters not operating well. I got to ride Superman though, and that was fun. XD

So you could have it at the end of the day and everyone can take pool class (or whatever it is XD) all at the same time? XD

I know, but still, for the longest time it didn't have AC.

My shool haven't a pool just a pond for fish. And you can't definetely swim there. So no swimming lesson. I lucky since i can't swim.

I've been to the one in New Jersey before, I went there with my Girl Scout troop back in 7th grade. It was fun... but my leader was, what we referred to her as, an old crone... so she pretty much ruined the whole trip for us. <<;

But anyway, I live in Connecticut, so I'll be going to the extremely boring Six Flags New England~

Andy -- Yeah, the whole time I was there we didn't have AC. <<; They must have really hated my class or something...

And we wouldn't have enough room for more than one pool, they are kinda large. XD; Plus... if my school wasn't willing to pay for AC, they aren't going to want to buy more pools. o.o

CC: OH I want a fish pond, even if I hate all fish and think they should all die (unless they're nice to look at and have no smell). XD

Ashley: I know, it's a story I remember. I still don't see how any of you took it. I mean I know how bad it got when our AC went out in the summer, so I feel sorry for each one of you that had to put up with no AC. X_X
I think you should have started a fire from breaking chairs to keep warm in the winter. XD
Well that's just how life is. Your school was given lemons, and they made coke with it. XD

My cousins have a fish pond. <3 But it's filled with giant goldfish... not fish for eating~

Well... I do live in Connecticut. It's only warm for about a month. Then it's cold the rest of the school year. So the lack of AC was really only an issue in September and maybe June.

And we did have heat, you know. o.o My school wasn't that poor, geez. XD

You mean them really really big ones? Not just little ones (that you can buy at a pet store for a buck) that's on miracle grow? Them things are ok.
I wonder if they stink.... XD

See that's where you come in lucky. You only got bad no AC time for just a month or so and then you're back to being ok. Around here if you don't have AC in the schools you'll pass out or something (since it does get over a 100 degrees and stays that way for ages).

So they can afford heat but can't afford AC? Ok...... XD

Yeah, those fish. XD They also had some small fish in the pond too... but the big huge ones ate them all. o.o;

Yeah, that's why it wasn't that big of a deal. But during those two months, it does get awfully hot. Especially the way my school is set up. It's like a U with a courtyard in the middle. Not to mention the fact that we had five floors. x_x; The fifth floor was deadly during the hot months...

We need heat... it gets really cold. And besides, I think it's a law that you need to have heat. And it's not so much that they couldn't afford the AC anyway... they already had the ducts and everything. They were just too stingy to actually pay for it. <<;

Is it really that cold in Conneticut?

I thought most of the American states would Be warm?
