Question: Avatar won't change

I'm trying to use the avatar that I posted here, but it says that the remote file is too large. However, it said for it be 130 x 130 pixels or smaller or 41KB. This image fits one of the requirements.

I thought it had to be both, not either or. I mean, you couldn't have a large avatar just because it was under 41KB. My current avatar was originally png, but I wasn't allowed to use it because of a huge filesize. Saving it as jpg fixed that, and it was the same dimensions. So yeah, it has to be both.

...Oh I see, the wording is a bit confusing. It says "whichever is smaller", so even if it is 130x130 or less, it doesn't matter if it has a huge filesize, as anigifs tend to.

I guess what is said there is just a misword. You MUST have a 130 x 130 or > avatar. And if it's a GIF it can't be over 41KB, yours is 85, well above double.

Yeah, my current avatar is 80 x 80, so your post made no sense, AK47.

I would just save it to my computer and upload it that way. Unless that's how you're doing it. Because I think they shrink it for you that way...
