The opening's Motteke Sailor Fuku, the Hare Hare Yukai is actually from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya but I also have that one, as well as associated extras from there. Hm... try gendou.com They have loads of music from anime there. :3

I went to gendou.com and they had both songs!! I had to search for "Hare Hare Yukai" instead of "Lucky Star", though. I found "Motteke Sailor Fuku" by searching "Lucky Star" though. THANX FOR THE RECOMMENDATION!!!!!! ^.^

There's two ways as far as I'm aware. One is the way I do it, using the Japanese keyboard interface and typing in "Hoshi" in hiragana and selecting the star from the drop down menu.
The other way is to use Unicodes... which I'm not so sure about, (involves Alt + *insert sequence of numbers*) or you may be able to insert it in MS Word too...

I'm not sure how to use the interface thing and I, of course, don't know the key thing...guess I am out of luck. :(
