4th Gen Azure Flute

doubt it, when nintendo moves on to a new game they usually abandon the old ones, except events that affect all the games in that generation

i'd have to agree. it's pretty sad how much nintendo abandons the old games and makes it difficult for newer players to collect certain legendaries legitly.

Yeah it sucks because u can't get all the old legendaries and finish the pokedex without wifi!
 
It sucks that people can never get a legit Arceus. However, they do sometimes reintroduce Pokemon in Gamestop or over wi-fi like Celebi and Mew, but those Pokemon have a lot of events.
 
No, I don't think they'll release this, or if they do, not for a long time. Nintendo has a way of not coming back to old events for years, keeping you on edge until you've given up. And when they do release it, you'll wonder why they didn't do this earlier.

What I don't understand is, why didn't they bring the Azure Flute into Platinum for us Platinum players? I didn't have Diamond or Pearl at the time this event happened, and I still don't - I just have Platinum - so for me this wasn't entirely fair D:

I had to get my Arceus via a trade with a friend of mine. At this point I just don't really care how I get one, as long as it doesn't mess up my game and as long as it fills my Pokedex.

Since Nintendo has moved on to Black and White, the flute is very likely never going to be released at all. It may as well be considered a beta remnant.
 
Nintendo has a tendency to leave everything in the previous series behind for a new one.
 
It's a bit of a disappointment that I can't receive an Arceus without using the AR, though maybe in the third B/W game, they might allow you to visit other regions, like how HGSS allowed you to visit Kanto.

If they did that I wouldn't be happy. I would much rather allow you to go to Hoenn. The only region that you can go to without a GBA game pak.

Hoenn is definitely a viable option. But I still will say that it'd be nice if Nintendo could implement a legit method of receiving Arceus in B/W.

Yeah I agree. But NO Sinnoh. My least favorite region.
 
But then there would be no point in creating the Azure Flute, or Arceus for that matter if it's only accesable by Event.
