Pokemon White 2

OT: Lilith 32323
Started: October 13th, 2012

I bought White 2 at Walmart earlier! I picked Snivy as my starter. I lost to my rival, Jack, in quite an embarrassing battle. I've never lost to rivals! I've become such a nub since I took a hiatus from Pokemon. Hmm.

Bianca and Alder show me the ropes while I train. The extra grinding paid off as I defeat my rival in Floccesy Ranch. I also found a wild Riolu pretty quickly, yay.

I faced Cheren and defeated him quite easily by utilizing Snivy's Growth. I traveled to Virbank, which has a nice little area to catch a variety of Pokemon. Koffing were really annoying me with their Poison Gas and Smokescreen, hnng. Maybe I'll catch stuff later. I trained a lot, even evolved Snivy, before I challenged Roxie. Elekid's Static came in handy, but her Whirlipede was a problem. Badges gettt.

Just got to elite 4

62 volcarona

56 lapras (changed for starter...wanted walrein but it's not winter season........)

56 lucario (so squishy I didn't really want to hold onto him)

59 magnezone (he's so slow I wish I did electrivire at this point)

It's kind of annoying how many things are carrying fighting attack since 3/4 of my team is weak to fighting. Lucario/lapras have low defence while magenzone/lapras have low speed. Lots of things are abusing volcaronas 4X weakness and are carrying rockslide ; /. Many of them have sturdy as well so avoid that big hit is hard! I keep thinking I should have gone chandelure again. Fire/ghost has good coverage.

Edit: Okay I beat it. Iris took 3 tries. Her pokemon are using rockslide/flamethrower and my whole team is weak to that stuff. Also, her lapras singed my megnezone to sleep and hit it with 3 surfs in arow to kill it, all while at low health itself.

I got Pokemon White 2 on Saturday (13th October) and this is a basic recalling of the events that occurred;

-Chose the female trainer, named myself Emma and my rival Hugh (Like most people.)
-I picked Tepig as my starter pokemon (Never used it before in Pokemon Black so I thought 'why not') and beat Hugh's Oshawott.
-Did the rest of the tutorial with Bianca and caught my first pokemon, a Patrat.
-Along Route 20 I caught a Sewaddle (The first potentially permanent team member, bar Tepig) and a Pidove.
-Beat Hugh again at the Floccesy Ranch.
-Caught a Riolu and an Azurill.
-Beat Cheren after he knocked out my Sewaddle and Riolu.

-At the Virbank Complex I caught an Elekid and a Magnemite.
-Trained my team with a lucky egg that I had given my Keldeo that I traded over. Tepig evolved to Pignite.
-Beat Roxie with my Pignite and Elekid.
-Took part in some films, the one were you play Riolu-kid/girl and then a fantasy film (With Sabrina in it) which I failed at the first time.

-Moving on to Castelia I got my Bike, a Quick Claw and a Charcoal for Pignite.
-Cleared the Sewers with Hugh. Riolu, Azurill and Sewaddle all evolved.
-Beat Burgh, Marill then evolved a second time.​

Waking up this morning I was at the entrance to Route 4.

Got through the egregious Castelia Sewers and looked around the Relic Passage. Alex evolved into a Nidorina. Went through the Castelia Gym and evolved Alex again to a Nidoqueen with the moon stone I imported from my past self in White. Defeated Burgh.

October 13, 2012

I managed to find a Sun Stone using the Dream Radar. That will come in handy when I'm ready to have my Sunkern evolve. Speaking of whom, Sunkern got to do some exploring in the Dream World, and gained a level from its experience. It did not come back with anything, however. I did earn the Good Night medal from it (apparently one of the Hint Medals, as my total is still 34).

I did some more battling as I crossed Route 20, and then finally reached Virbank City. At the Pokémon Center, I did some housekeeping; I sent Mareep to Fennel, and my other Pokémon to Juniper, keeping Swablu, Dunsparce, Azurill, and Drifloon with me.

Later in the evening, I went out to exploring the new area. I overheard people talking about how difficult the gym leader was. One was saying that he was thinking about catching a Magnemite at the Virbank Complex. Magnemite in Unova? I found the Virbank Complex in the south side of town, and there were plenty of wild Pokémon outside of it, including a group of Magnemite! I had Swablu try to Sing one to sleep, but used Sonicboom and Tackle and knocked it out. I tossed a Poké Ball anyway, and managed to catch it!

"Magnemite, the Magnet Pokémon. Magnemite emit electromagnetic waves from the sides of their heads which allow them to float. The faster these units rotate the greater magnetic force they generate."

Not long after that, I caught an Elekid nearby as well! I think it's awesome that this corner of the Unova region has a bunch of Pokémon familiar to me from other regions.

"Elekid, the Electric Pokémon. Elekid spin their arms around to generate electricity which makes the area between their horns shine light blue. The weak electric current between these horns can shock the unwary."

It was getting late, so a headed back to the Pokémon Center for the night.

Lucario was holding Bright Powder :D

Decided I'd go to Chargestone cave and got turned around by the knocked out bridge.
Went back to Driftveil and took on the tournament, I was anxious at first but came out on top.
Then we chased some Plasma goons to an old ship and myself Cheren and Hugh wiped the floor with them.
Holy crap it's Cobalion!
Back into Chargestone Cave, working my way back to the entrance so I can revive magnemite -.-
Might go to bed, dream about Rosa, or Elesa, or both.

The 3 eggs I was cultivating hatched into a Klink, Vanilite and Rufflet. Trained Klink and Vanilite and defeated Clay. Managed to finish Relic Passaged and captured the Volcarona, making my full team complete. All I need to do is train them now.

I've also renamed Aqua to Bubbles.

Then I faced Roxie were I had no problem dealing with here since I had Lucario and Elekid. After that I dealt with Plasma and then took awhile at Pokestar Studios. Then finally I got back to training at the Complex.

Virbank City is amazing and so is the Gym. I've defeated Roxie but haven't been to PokeWood, is it?, yet. And that's where I am.

• Beat Cheren in an extremely close (as in, my last pokémon had 1 hp left) battle.
• Traded the aforementioned eggs.
• Caught a Riolu as my temporary fighting type.
• Arrived in Virbank and did the whole complex thing, catching a Magnemite in the process.
• Did some level grinding for an hour.
• Defeated Roxie and went to PokéStar Studios (which is certainly more entertaining than the Musical).
• Arrived at Castelia and did pretty much the same things I did back in White.
• Explored the Castelia's sewer system and wandered into Relic Passage.
• Beat Burgh.
• Did some level grinding in Desert Resort and Route 4, catching my sixth member in the process.

I made it to Castelia. In the sewers, I caught a Zubat. In the garden, I caught Petilil and Eevee. I quickly trained Zubat so he could take on Burgh's team. Zubat evolved just in time and owned Swadloon and Leavanny, haha. Petilil and Elekid eliminated Dwebble. Not too bad, right?

Hnnggg Elesa is next. Time to pick up a Drilbur. In the cave in the sewers, I found a swirling dust in like 5 seconds. I did some very intense grinding in the desert area, sports dome, and nearby routes. I felt like an eternity passed me by three times today. Drilbur was stuck with Mud-Slap and all Petilil can do still is shake her leaves at enemies. hnngg.

Bianca gave me Fly too, and I was pretty surprised that I could use it with only 3 badges. Huh. I quickly put an end to Elesa since Drilbur learned Dig and Rock Slide. WAS IT WORTH IT ALL? no
