Pretty fun episode.

- Ash seriously needs to learn to slow down when approaching a door.
- Barry! Voice suits him well.

- Barry is a Paul fanboy...

Ah... Fun episode. Barry's cool. PUSA did a good job with him IMO. As far as BGM goes, I think they kept around 13-15 pieces, not sure though. It seems like PUSA is trying to make up for making up in the last episode XD. Everything else was good. Silence here, silence there, voice actors doing their thing... I liked it. Next week's is going to be awesome! *coughDrifblimcough*

I wish Barry was a full time character but atleast we will see him again

- Barry is a Paul freak!
- Barry acts a lot like Paul
- Cacnea! Too bad he didn't mention going back for it T.T
- Jessie used Seviper
- Carnevine is getting annoying
- A physical Roserade! Poison Jab looked great from her.
- Now I get to see how Staraptor actually uses Close Combat and it was great.
- Pikachu's win was predictable

I loved this epi! New character and an epic battle, 9/10.

Barry is AMAZING! I love him so much! His appearance makes this one of my all time favourite episodes! *Must* remember to tape this episode on Monday! Or my sister will be angry

They didn't translate "NANDAYO NANDAYO NANDATTENDAYO!!" at all though :/ Which is kind of Jun's catchphrase in Japanese and it's absolutely hilarious. But it doesn't translate well, I suppose, it like "what!? What!? What on earth!?"

Oh my god this was great.
- Barry's english voice. He actually sounds better then any current voice.
- Tsk Tsk never question Barry's impatient behaviour.
- Fantina. First time I heard her english voice. My god it is so French but so graceful.
- Brock jumps in but fails. Oh well.
- Barry you and ash need to stop bumping into each other.
-Brock of course he got it all wrong. Nice way to stay calm.
- Exploud at the town festival eh. Hmm doesnt look like he knows dawn but you never know if someoine else does....
- Rofl ash lame and and dawn geeky. I love Barry more then ever.
- Dont worry Barry no one can remember brock.
- Barry your such a bully. But I love how your itching for a fight.
- Uh uh Barry you did not call ash weak and jealous of Paul. It. Is. On.

Roserade VS Gliscor. Epic punch out but a draw. Oh well.
-Pikachu VS Empoleon. Boom that was cool.
And yeah next is the gym battle. Cant wait.

"(the)Tube" is slang for television. People just call it that for some reason... I myself have never heard somebody say it in real life, though. XD

As for the bgm, I have no idea. I couldn't tell when a track ended or a new one started either... but listening to it again, I think you've got them all.

I haven't seen this episode yet (being in Australia, I'll be waiting a while), but in the games, Barry/Jun has a catchphrase of sorts. I believe it was "nandattendayo!?" in the original, "What was that all about!?" in the translation. So they could've done a something like "What!? What!? What was that all about!?". *shrugs*

I live in AU. but i watched it on youtube xD. That Barry dude moves WAYYY too fast for his own good lol. He acts even faster than in the game lol. Cept this time, he acts kind of *****y =/

Barry is Paul's fanboy, how cute.
I just think Paul will hate Barry if they ever meet up.
Cacnea, I missed that fella! James must catch a new pokemon already!
WOW, Barry has some nice pokemon!
The staraptor was kinda week, but it reminded me of ash's staravia, is it ever going to appear again?
Rosrade was great, poison jabs rocks!
Empoleon isn't so strong after all...
Did you notice it must be the first battle since ever ash isn't using buizel?
The battle was great, but did you notice chimchur didn't use any attack against rosrade?

Finally I got to watch this episode on youtube, and it was so great!!!

New character, Barry was super cool and his voice wasn't terrible either...
Wow, Ash really did freeze up when they started getting into talk about Paul...

but all in all, WONDERFUL episode...and next is the Hearthome Gym battle...YES! It is about time...

and COOL, Platinum Poketch, with the two buttons and all was on Barry...:D

10/10 no doubt!

This battle was decent, I hate Barry but I guess that's kinda the point, huh? My ELoT:

- Fantina's pretty sucky as a Gym Leader.

- Geeky? Geek normally implies intelligence.

- And he was telling them not to stall?
- The jerk counts a bit fast...
- Is that something strange that its run by TR, Brock?
- How did the jerk know their names?
- Seviper? Snakes can't fly, Jessie,
- Some large Gym leader? Fantina's practically anorexic...
- Empoleon looks....ridiculous.
- Lol at James. Foreshadowing of a reunion?
- Where is this battlefield, exactly?
- Chimchar got pwned.
- Staraptor got pwned.
- Chimchar got pwned...again.
- Double pwned.
- Dawn didn't comment when he put a grass type against a Fire-type...

I think that as long as I just separate Jun from Barry, then I can consider this episode one of my highly favored episodes of the whole series.

I did like how they kept the now-rarely-heard GSC Rival music after taking it out of the somewhat-recent Pikachu VS Raichu episode. I also liked how little dialogue changes Barry had (even if most of the dialogue changes were to his catchphrases). I did get a little confused though when he called Paul a giant, I just kinda laughed in confusion when that happened.

I really enjoyed this ep. Barry's nice, though it was hard geting used to him being called Barry.

He's my personality multiplied by 2.5 xD;

Still his near-yaoi infatuation with Paul drove me up the wall. *Imagines May meeting Barry* That's the end of the world -_-

Please help me About English on this episode.
I got stuck about word that i never heard before and maybe i might seen it.
there is a part when barry ash&co on their way to pokemon center but it's turn out they have a battle.
It's the ..... one on this dialogue.

Ash : just because you got a bunch strong pokemons doesn't mean you alway gonna win
Barry : Huh ?
Ash : I think it just as important to train together with your pokemon you can learn with ....... you know ? to bond with them.
Barry : i'm not sure what you mean by bonding with them.

what's ....... ?
