urgh.

I've been hunting for one of they pretty damn smart-lookin' Pikachu-Pichu edition GameBoy Colors for a little while now on eBay. and I just. ASFDAKJFGSFGJDSDGSFGDHGF. You find a perfect console at a perfect price and then in tiny tiny tiny type at the bottom it's all "ooh sorry I lost the battery cover whatevs it still works" and I'm like WHY. DID YOU HAVE TO. DO THAT.

Am I the only kid who never, ever lost a battery cover? Who didn't even know how to go about losing one? All the other geeks kids at school who had GameBoys all lost their battery covers. Except for me. I can't even begin to describe how *twitch* I get playing a console that doesn't have a battery cover; my BFF in GCSE gave me his old GameBoy Pocket for my birthday once because he knew I always wanted one and I love it to pieces but I can feel the batteries when I'm holding it and it. IT IRKS ME. Srsly, I buy damaged crap all the time, but battery covers are the one thing I get really anal about.

The battery cover on my original GBC was used so much that the little tab that keeps it in place broke. :( It had to be taped on but at least I never lost it.

Come to think of it, my original GBA might've had the same problem--I can't remember now.
