    Battle Bash
    Battle Bash is a tournament where players get points for battling on Pokémon Showdown. While you are encouraged to use my unofficial server (HTTP only), you may also use the main server. All you have to do is make a post to sign up, include your Showdown usernames, and report your battles in this thread (preferably as replays). Add yourself to the "Battlers" role in PokéCommunity's Discord server to get pinged when people want to battle. You can also find people to battle by either posting in this thread or pinging everyone yourself (send a Discord message with @Battlers).

    Battle Bash Points
    All points mentioned in this thread are Battle Bash specific and not GT points, unless explicitly stated. 3v3, 2v2, and 1v1 battles are not allowed.

    Battles with the opposing Get-Together team
    40 per win / 20 per loss

    Battles with the same Get-Together team
    20 per win / 10 per loss

    Battles in team-building formats receive a 10 point bonus. All bonuses stack, so winning a battle vs. someone in an opposing team in a live tournament with a showcased, team-building format would provide 40 + 10 (team-building format) + 10 (showcased format) + 10 (live tournament) = 70 points.

    Get-Together Points
    Gold Medal (1st place on leaderboard, complete at least 25 battles): 150 points
    Silver Medal (2nd place on leaderboard, complete at least 25 battles): 100 points
    Bronze Medal (3rd place on leaderboard, complete at least 25 battles): 50 points
    Participation (complete at least 5 battles): 10 points

    Get-Together points are halved if the minimum battles aren't reached. Smogon ladder battles only count if you achieve the necessary ranking (see the below section).

    Showcased Formats
    There are showcased formats every 3 days. If you battle in the showcased format, you will get a 10 point bonus per battle. The showcased format changes at exactly midnight (EDT / GMT -4). Please organize your post such that it's clear when you have battled in a showcased format.

    July 14 - 16: Gen 6 Team Magma/Aqua Random or Gen 3 Team Magma/Aqua Random
    July 17 - 19: Gen 9 OU
    July 20 - 22: Baby Random Battle
    July 23 - 25: Monotype Random Battle
    July 26 - 28: Random Roulette

    Suggest any formats you'd like to see for the last three, and I'll make a poll. If the poll doesn't get enough suggestions and votes in time for the third showcased format, I'll choose one instead.

    Live Tournaments
    Anyone who has mod status on the unofficial server is welcome to host live tournaments. Tournaments with at least 4 participants provide a 10 point bonus per battle, but tournaments on the main server don't count. Enter "/help tour" in the chat to learn more, or message me on Showdown or Discord. "/etour", "/dtour", and "/ttour" are shortcuts for creating single-, double-, and triple-elimination tournaments, respectively, while "/rtour" creates a round-robin tournament. You can also ping the "Battlers" role on Discord when you start a tournament.

    Battle Bot
    You may challenge PokeCommBot to battles, whom will be treated as someone of the same team as you. Each battle has to finish with all the necessary Pokémon fainted on one side in order for it to be valid (i.e., AI bugging out and forfeiting won't count). Bonuses don't apply to any bot battles. Total points from bot battles are capped at 200 per user, so battling the bot after that won't count.

    Smogon Ladder
    You can search for battles on the main server. If you meet the following requirements, you will receive 400 points:

    Check your ranking by entering "/rank username" in the chat. Any format that isn't Metronome Battle is allowed, including 3v3, 2v2, and 1v1 formats. Please use the prefix "BB" in your Showdown username or message me on Showdown saying "I am <your PC username>" to prove that it's your account. Screenshot your ranking when you accomplish the challenge. You don't need to include replays. Individual battles and bonuses don't apply for points. You can only earn points for a single format, so if you achieve the necessary ranking in multiple formats, you still only earn 400 points.

    Achievements
    The following are Get-Together points, not Battle Bash points.

    Rayquaza's score vs. Groudon & Kyogre
    Maintain the longest win streak on the unofficial Showdown server (no bot) - 15 pts
    A Rating out of This World, Like Deoxys
    Have the highest Elo rating out of all participants on the main Showdown server - 15 pts
    Serene Grace
    Have the most Pokémon that are used by Team Magma and/or Aqua in a single random team (no Team Magma/Aqua Random) - 5 pts
    Maxie/Archie Stan
    Win the most battles with only Pokémon that are used by your GT team (Magma or Aqua, no random formats, no bot) - 15 pts

    The win streak achievement doesn't count battles on the main Showdown server. "That are used by Team Magma/Aqua" means Pokémon that grunts, admins, or leaders have on their teams in the video games, anime, manga, or TCG. "Your GT team" means the team that you are assigned to and what Pokémon the characters use, not what your fellow GT teammates use. Lastly, only battles that have earned you Battle Bash points can qualify for these achievements.

    Leaderboard
    Everyone's point totals are updated here. The 3 participants with the most points by the end of the Get-Together win the gold, silver, and bronze medals.

    This was how close I got to the ladder reqs
    I just need to win 1 of the next 2, but I loaded up into stall pussies twice in a row

    also I don't recommend trying for ladder reqs, it's so mentally exhausting and the smallest amount of luck can just screw you over and it takes hours to get the games in
    400 points is way too little for whatever I just had to go through

    After torturing 5qwerty, I reduced the ladder requirements to make it less challenging. Let me know if it still seems too unreasonable for 400 points.

    For those who are having issues connecting, make sure your browser isn't forcing an HTTPS connection, because the server only supports HTTP. You may need to reduce the security in your browser settings, edit the URL if your browser tries to sneak in HTTPS, and/or delete your browser cookies. I recommend using a second browser if you don't want to reduce the security on your main browser. Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately unregistered servers can't support HTTPS.
