    I really liked HG/SS Battle Frontier, and especially the Rental tournament, is there a realistic chance that it will return?

    ps. typo in the title, cool
     
    Realistic chance...... nope. It would be nice to see it again but I think they moved on to other stuff
     
    It was a bit disappointing to not see it make a return in the 5th gen, but I rather loved the World Tournament, being able to battle all these characters from previous games. I too think that we won't be seeing it make a return anytime soon. Seems they're interested in trying out new facilities. I do hope they do something similar to the PWT though, bringing some old characters back to battle.
     
    Eiffel tower becomes ... the new battle tower?

    I was really excited when I saw the PWT. They came up with a creative alternative than just a battle frontier, which they've already had in 2 generations. I would like another battle frontier or something equally challenging, like PWT. :) If they can be innovative again, kudos.

    The Eiffel tower is a gym. It has the Gym symbol on it.

    I don't see us getting Battle Frontiers in this game. They don't tend to appear in the first set and are almost primarily expansions to the battle facility that the game reveals. Usually the battle tower. We didn't get one in Gen 5 due to the addition of the PWT...honestly, I think they are just going to get rid of the frontier for more PWT like places.
     
    I hope not. While I enjoyed the PWT it was quite limiting, as was Gen IV's Battle Frontier. I like to see something more like Hoenn's with 7 or maybe more if they do another frontier. Though I can see there being a PWT like place for these games and a Frontier for the third version/sequels/prequels.

    Yeah given the pattern with some games it looks like a Battle Frontier won't appear since they tend to appear in the "retooled" third game (and also HG/SS which were remakes) but I'd like to see another facility similar to B2/W2's Pokemon World Tournament.
