I've been trying to work out a good moveset for the BT myself. I've so far won 21 battles in a row including the one against Palmer with a simple team:

    Infernape @ Expert Belt:
    Hasty

    Stone Edge
    Flamethrower
    Close Combat
    Swords Dance

    Venusaur @ Leftovers:
    Careful

    Grass Knot
    Earthquake
    Sleep Powder
    Sludge Bomb

    Luxray @ Magnet

    Adamant

    Thunder
    Ice Fang
    Crunch
    Rain Dance

There are some glaring issues with my team, especially a lack of water attacks, but it seemed to work for me (even though I'd never use these particular movesets in 2P battles). I'm currently working with some feebas and corsolas to try and breed a decent Milotic, as well as working on breeding a good Rhyperior for some variety. My main advice is to try and have three Pokemon that cover a good variety of types, and have movesets that play to their Natures, which should be beneficial to their species and stats.

this team got me to about 40 wins, I plan on changing the Shuckle to a Choice scarf Heracross, because enemy Ludicolo were giving me problems....

    Garchomp @ Life Orb
    Jolly
    252 speed, 252 attack, 6 HP
    Earthquake
    Crunch
    Fire Fang
    Dragon Claw

Porygon Z @ Focus Sash / Salac Berrry / Expert Belt
    Modest
    252 S.Att, 132 Speed, 126HP
    Tri Attack
    Thunderbolt
    Ice Beam
    Agility

    Shuckle @ Leftovers
    252 Def, 252 S.Def, 6 HP
    Toxic
    Protect
    Double team
    Rest

I'm going to try this Blastoise, I've made it so he has type advantage as much as I could,

    Blastoise @ Leftovers
    - Ice Beam
    - Rain Dance
    - Aqua Tail
    - Focus Punch

    I might use a Ambipom

    Ambipom @ Leftovers
    - Swift
    - Baton Pass
    - Agility
    - Substitute

If I use Ambipom, I'll use Agility once or twice, Substitute then Baton Pass to Blastoise

As terrible of a Trainer I am, I still get far in the BT. It's just the Double Teamers that stop me.....

I've never played BT, but is there Sleep Clause rule in those things? If not, just bring in a Scarf Breloom and Spore the living life out of your foes

Always carry a hazer for anti-Double team hax. And definately a pokemno that resists toxic.
