Beijing Olympics

yay!! Team USA beat Argentina in basketball. I cant wait to watch them win the gold against spain on sunday. Too bad the game is at 2:30 am est >< all nighter ftw
 
Ahhh yesssss, I'm loving these Olympics. I'm shocked but overjoyed that GBR is 3rd, yes? And I think Australia is hating us for it, ha. And congrats to the China's gymnastics team, and diving team! ^^; I don't think any of the China's gymnastics team is underage, although they may look it very much, lol. They just appear very young for their age, maybe due to the work and dieting they have to contribute towards the Olympics, I dunno.

...China has too many medals!

I'm also looking forward to that match, but mainly with the hope of putting up a good fight and not losing by 37 points like last time :(
Anyways, I have hope in our team- we are the world champions, still.
Although I must say that I would have preferred a play against Argentina in the final XD
 
I think the USA has 100 medals now! That is something, i have to admit! Anyone watch the free routine? It's amazing.. i don't know how they make those patterns and breath underwater at the same time!
 
=D Karine Sergerie got SILVER in woman's taekwondo! She was one point away from gold though, so I was like wwwwwtf.
 
Apparently some hacker actually broke into the Chinese Governments Servers and found the records on the underage contestants. All except one was underage, I think the youngest was 12 years old.

Jeez, they really should all be disqualified. Maybe then they wouldn't have so many gold medals :3
 
Noooooowayyy! I didn't even see Russia coming on us. Oh well, we'll get our spot back, although we really deserve first place :P
 
Yeah, lol! I never saw Russia anywhere, they kinda sprung on England :(.

I still can't beleive the Chinese let the underage gymnasts compete, i mean, surely the Chinese goverment knew (birth certificates etc.)? That's really bad sportsmanship, in my opinion.

Being Lighter, that gives them an unfair advantage. -_-'
Don't try to make this an argument of fairness, they broke the rules, so they should have their medals taken away. :S

There is a pretty good chance that they will have them taken away, or else the Olympic Officials would have stopped doing their research a while ago. People have had their medals taken away in the past, I can't see why there is an exception now.

Ah, I see. Hopefully the officials won't be arses and do what is fair for the other countries.

Aye, my brother said that. Plus the age you have to be to enter gymnastics is 16, so it's really obvious they've cheated. What with their fake passports an' all.
 
I thought the officials said 16-'s shouldn't being doing that much gymnastics because it effects their growth?
 
The thing that gets me is that the Chinese government KNEW about the underage athletes.. that really is low, after part of their ceremony was fake.
 
Agreed, it's too many! I think the USA deserve first place on the medals table, really.

Noo! GBR didn't finish in the top 3! Dang Russia..

It's the closing ceremony in a few hours, i hope it's good (and not fake)!
 
Heh, great basketball match we have had. Even though I'm somewhat angry with the referee (running without bouncing the ball... is illegal outside the US!), I must say I enjoyed it. And Pau gets to be the top scorer in the tournament :)
