Maybe Michael Phelps always needs to pee when he races that's why he's so fast lol. *JK*

Stephanie Rice from Australia has a good talent at the medley.

Phelps is a real legend in the making i think he is not quite as good as Ian Thorpe though
 
Toblerone, the ceremony was fake as yes the little girl singing was actually miming xD

And also the fireworks were all fake and computer generated xD

They thought it was the best ever until the producer got drunk and told everyone it it was all fake
 
Phelps is better than Thorpie. He's won Gold in Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly. Thorpie may be better at Freestyle (Maybe), but even he can't compete with total dominance in three of the four strokes.

I agree that Phelps is better than Thorpie, isn't he the most successful Olympian this year?
 
Yes, Phelps is, he is better than Thorpe because he can compete in more than 1 swimming style, as Thorpe can only compete in freestyle xD
 
i do care about the olympics cause im going to be there for england so see me in four years time

go england were the best at cycling and everything else so come on england
 
I hope we can top off the Super weekend with a few more golds, go show 'em England! I'm very surprised that we were 3rd, i remember yesterday we started off 7th XD.
 
Nadal got Gold in Tennis, and Phelps beat all the existing records ever.

This is what I call a day :D

The new world record for the 100 metres was phenominal! Uslar Bolt I think his name is... he was extremley quick. So quick in fact, he could have thrashed the record by a few good hundreths of a second had he not celebrated in the last 20 metres :P Simply amazing stuff.

Mr Wiggins is doing extremley well. Last time I saw he was qualifying for the heats. How is he doing now?

1) Well, firstly, they are 16, they're growth is stunted by their dodgy performance inhancers etc.

2) I think you're forgetting our 14 year old British young gun named Tom Dayley, he was allowed to compete. Therefore it mustn't have an age range.
 
There is no age limit in the olympics- If you can qualify you can compete. I believe there have people competing as young as 13 in the games, particularly from areas in Eastern Europe. Not to mention we Brits are being represented by the afformentioned Tom Daley, aged 13 when he qualified and is 14 now.

EDIT: Phelps has just recieved his 8th gold, and is now officially the most successful swimmer in olympic history.

Although, you can't pin that 8th medal on Phelps alone...
It was the relay after all
and if I remember correctly, they were in 2nd when Phelps swam?
Of course, he's still terrific
