4th Gen Berry Pots

The Berry Pots in Heart Gold and Soul Silver allow you to grow up to 4 Berries at a time, and can be accessed easily from the Key Items.

Did you use the Berry Pots often, and did you prefer them over the soil patches in the Sinnoh games (and Hoenn Games)? The Berry Pots allow you to access Berries easier but don't allow you to grow as many types of Berries at a time as the soil patches in the other Gen 4 games do.

I didn't care for the Berry Pots, honestly. I'd forget them often, and would only use them when I wanted more healing berries. I do think it's easier to plant berries in pots in your bag, though. Makes it better than having to remember where the berries you planted are. But, I don't know, it feels more natural to plant them in the ground, which is why I didn't care for the Berry Pots.

Overall I've never been into berries really.

I don't remember using it much (but I don't bother with berries much in regular playthroughs in general), but it was certainly better than having to fly around to take care of your berries
