Best Dubbing Company

funimation is better because it on all day and you can have it at ALL times

FUNimation, just because they seemed to have had better success at dubbing better than 4Kids in the past.
 
What in the world is the use of this thread? A majority of us know who everyone is gonna pick. As far as I can tell, this thread is just another way to diss 4kids in some way. Yeah Funi is better at dubbing. 4kids wins in makling good OPs though. Also, IMO 4kids One Piece was better than Funi's. 4kids made me discover what Shaman King, Yu-Gi-Oh! and in a way One Piece. (I caught a glimpse of the manga before I saw the anime and didn't like it. After I saw the anime, I decided that One Piece seemed okay and that I should give it a chance.)
Yeah, Funi wins in dubbing and such, but without either, I wouldn't really be into anime. So I say appreciate both for what they do: Bring anime from Overseas so that others can see them.
 
Since it's kinda one-sided, I'm gonna go ahead and change it into a general "Best Dubber" rather than just 4kids and Funimation.
 
^ Ah, I was wondering why they were saying that the answer was obvious.
I mean, personally I prefer Funimation, but Viz isn't ear-bleedingly horrendous either, so I was like, "...?"

I like Vic Mingogna, but that man is seriously overdone. *facepalms*
 
Funimation. Hands down.

Bandai isn't bad though either. But I'd say Funi because they've always been really good to me. XD

Loki: BUT BUT... BUUUUT I LOVE VIC MIGNOGNA. I MET HIM IN PERSON AND AND... *STARTS SOBBING* ;___;
 
One word, and I know this will make some of you cringe: Disney. That's right, Disney. They brought Miyazaki to the western world with a sort of love and reverence that you don't see from anyone else, not even Funimation.

If I had to pick a company that does more dubs than just Ghibli movies, I'd say Bandai because of Cowboy Bebop. That may have been the best dub by far. In fact, I'd say it surpassed the original Japanese voice work.

4kids, i think dubbed Yu-gi-Oh (AWESOME SERIES). The voices were great and I have to say its my favourite dubbing company. :D
 
Either FUNimation Or Cloverway. I Will Never Say DiC Though. Their Adaption Of Sailor Moon Was Sorta Sucky.... And Disneys Not Half Bad, Either. Their Adaption Of My Neighbour Totoro Was Pretty Good. :D
 
I say FUNimation, 4Kids screws up any show they get their hands on. >.>
 
Who did the dub of Hellsing?

'Cause I'm not really bothered so long as the accents aren't American, although they almost always are and thick as maple syrup at that.
