I forgot about this guy. Have you ever seen Wishbone? I used to love that show. These guys are honestly the most smartest in my opinion.

I always that they were pretty cool dogs. I loved Shadow in Homeward Bound, and he was a pretty cool and mellow dog too so... why not?

Tough: Chihuahua

Definitely these little guys. They may look cute and fuzzy, but they sure can bark like no tomorrow. They act tough, even though they are smaller than most dogs (if not all). We have two of them, and they think they are pitbulls sometimes. XD

Beauty: Siberian Husky

Totally agreeing with mimimahboul on this one. Huskies are absolutely gorgeous, and I've always wanted one so bad. They are just amazing.

Clever: Can I say grey wolf? The collie may have the highest IQ but the 'natural dog' has a practical intelligence it has developed by itself. There's more to respect and admire in that, I think.

Cool: Bernese mountain dog. Super chill breed — they'll sleep by the fire while you use them as a footrest, haha.

Tough: Irish wolfhound. Huge dog bred to, as the name suggests, hound wolves. That said, like many large breeds they're actually very gentle by nature.

I don't have an answer for cute and beautiful, but I will say I find flat-snouted dogs really offputting.
