Hi everyone. In this post, i wish to tell all the pokéfans that empoleon has been the best water pokemon nintendo has ever introduced. First of all, it can use water type moves which are super effective on fire (yeah, i know all water types can do that). Second, it is also a bird type which means moves which can handle the grass and the fight type well. Third, it can learn ice types moves which gives it an advantage over dragons. It can also learn steel type moves which makes it advantageous over ice. Being a steel+water+bird type gives a great advantage in battle. It has got high defence because it is a steel type pokemon. Even electricity isn't gonna be super effective on it. Don't you think the same way as i do? If not, please let me know the reason.

Empoleon is neat but Starmie is my favourite to use.

I do love Empoleon's design, even if Infernape was the Sinnoh starter I used in most playthroughs as of late. Water/Steel is a unique type that surely gives Empoleon some tank stats, while being a powerful special attacker.

I went with Piplup in Diamond, but that was more because it looked like Pingu than because I liked Empoleon's design. Don't get me wrong, I do like Empoleon's design, but Piplup is cuter and I think Torterra looks cooler.

In terms of how it stacks up against other water Pokemon...yeah, it's cool. I've always been fond of the Totodile line though, and Milotic is just gorgeous.

Well, you see.. I haven't been talking about cute or cool or beautiful pokemon. Empoleon is a strong pokemon. Speaking of cool, i beleive Infernape is the coolest.

Empoleon is Water/Steel, it's a bird in name only. Honestly, while the Steel type can obviously be an annoyance when combined with other types, it still has a few weaknesses - its Ground weakness can be notable, and it maintains an electrical weakness, while moves like Superpower can also be quite common - and in general seems to rely a bit on iffy typing. In that sense, design-wise, it's not necessarily the best of those, and some of the others may have movesets which work better with their typing, rather than just relying on passive resistance.

Man, i just didn't think about the weaknesses. Thanks for rectifying me dude.
