Shinji-kun needs a Water-type. I'd lol if he got a Bibarel. XD I think he'd be good with a Golduck or something.

Milotic would be a great choice for a water pokemon, it's beatiful(not as much as shinji) and powerful as well.

Both Milotic and Mismagius are waaaay too girly for Shinji. . He needs something better anyway. I'd lol if he got a Lanturn. .​
 
What do you like about Shinji/Paul? He's the reason I started watching pokemon again. After a while, you need trainers like him or the show will go sour. He's just like we play the games!
Why did you join? Because Paul is a much better rival than Gary was. Paul doesn't get haxed by Ash as much as the other guys. Paul just plain pwns everyone. =]
How active will you be? Active enough so that the club doesn't get deleted. ;_;

Yes, but however...I don't think Shinji would train a Magikarp, DX besides, Gyarados has too maany weak points. Especially against electric attacks. Lanturn is actually a good choice, it has volt absorb, or maybe water abosrb. Poliwrath would be good too. looks don't determine a Pokemon, strength does >;D in Shinji's case.
 
I think he should get a Magikarp >:D

Nah, Paul needs a water pokemon that's bulky and doesn't get one shotted like glass cannons. *cough*pikachu*cough*.
What he needs is a bulky water like Swampert, since it's one of the only waters that aren't weak to electric attacks, but it's also a ground type that won't get OHKO'd by Ash's hacked uberchu:

Ash: Go Pikachu
Paul: LOL, I pwnz you noob
Paul sends out Swampert
Ash: Aww ####
Swampert used Earthquake! Pikachu fainted.
Paul: Pwnd noob.
Ash: Man, I knew I forgot my Action Replay.
 
Yeah, Shinji + Swampert = Awesomeness. XD I adore Swampert. God, if he gets a Mudkip/Marshtomp, I'm gunna be so pissed. .​
 
Eww, Swampert D: I perfer Feraligatr, or Empoleon. Those are some serious Water PKMNZ.

As I was saying; Swampert is pretty weak. Shinji hates the weak, just like Silver.
 
Swampert is not weak if you train it correctly. Muddy Water = Win.

Or maybe he'd get a Quagsire. L.O.L.​
